    A TRD OR built into a Baja/PRO hybrid

    Front lines are easy. One of the Rear lines is a pain in the ass because the fitting is different... just one, for whatever reason. Some dremeling was involved to the bracket. Drop your spare tire to give yourself more room.

    Thanks for the great write-up @crashnburn80 ! I had the exact same rotors and pads installed yesterday based on your recommendation and I immediately noticed a better more "firm" feeling brake pedal and better stopping power. Now I just have to baby they way I brake for a couple hundred miles so they seat in proper......but thus far I'm a happy camper!

    They only get better as they break in. I used my parking brake at the end of a hot stop to prevent hot pads sitting against the stationary rotor to prevent pad to rotor transfer during the break-in period. Probably over cautious but I really didn't want to end up with brake vibration after spending the money or these rotors and pads.

    The metal on the hard lines is stupid soft. Get some liquid wrench, and start soaking all connections a few days in advance. I just replaced all mine, and one of the hard lines rounded off. I just clamped it down like a mofo with some vice grips, and was able to break it free. Still working fine with no leaks, and now I can flex out without worry. I recommend @OCTaco for your brake lines. $119 shipped for all 4 corners, with a custom color and length.

    Thanks for the info. I actually have some of his lines coming my way now. Going to do, wheel bearing/hub assembly, rotors/pads, and stainless lines next weekend.

    One of my friends has an 05 tacoma and his lines, and they installed with no issue. On my 05, the front lines wouldn't fit in the bracket, no matter what I tried. I had to sand down the fitting a little bit on the line to get it to fit in there. Alternatively you could enlarge the bracket itself on the truck. I may have been unlucky or something, but wanted to give you the heads up.

    Also use a flare wrench on the hard lines. Helps to keep from rounding them off.

    Thank you for the detailed write up. Any pointers on flushing the system? . I want to do it myself but I don’t have help. I purchased a pump online from motive products but I heard about the ABS system not letting you do the flush this way.
    I’m buying new rotors and pads, mine are making a constant squeaking all the time, you can hear them when driving by cars, plants or even alleys. And also they squeak when break, anyway. Any help with the flush will be appreciated.
