    1.02c shift A 87 octane.

I’ve been using cruise control for 5 days, set at 73.5 to 74 mph. My mpg have gone up by 2 to 20.4 or .5.

Previous to this I was averaging 18.5 at 80 no cruise control.

I can’t wait to see what 103 will do. Also I have ne weird shifting with cruise on. 220 miles a day.

I didn't read it that way at all.

I don't blame them for getting defensive...people were immediately suggesting they were stealing someone else's IP with NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. That is some serious BS. And the people doing it were OVtune customers who, IMHO, sounded like they trying to defend their $800 purchase when there is now possible competition for 1/2 the price.

OVtune has been on these forums and working with forum members for like 8 months with thousands of posts. He's a known quantity. This other tune just showed up in the last few days and people are sh1tting all over it because they haven't released all the non-prop development info OVune has released over 8 months in just 2-3 days. People are just being $#%@ing ridiculous.

I can't say I'm unhappy with the OVtune so far, quite the contrary, but I can say, I'm not crazy about the whole OVtune process up to this point (I'm expecting the flash manager to fix alot of those gripes though). And another point, I posted a legit question like this...

And it's radio silence....someone else posts a question asking him what cars he's tuning in Hong Kong next month and he gets a reply. It's not the first time this has happened. And I'm pretty sure I've never asked him any non-tune questions.

I don't expect him to reply to EVERY question. That's unreasonable....in fact, I'd prefer he spend his time working on the tune than here in the forum...BUT if he is going to answer questions here, I'd prefer to get my tune related questions answered and not see answers to questions about other tuning projects completely unrelated to this. And I've been here since nearly the beginning and I follow all the OVTune threads, so it's not like I ask questions that have been asked (and answered) 100 times like some people new to the tune do.

I'm overall impressed with OVtune's work so far, but there is a little too much fanboism going on for my taste in that GearOne thread of people trying to "stick up" for OVtune and throwing unfounded accusations around. OVTune is a big boy and he can do that for himself if he thinks it's necessary. Legit Competition is good for EVERYONE so I don't see anything wrong with some legit competition, while I do see something wrong with people suggesting others are stealing IP with no evidence to back it up. If someone suggested I was a thief I'd be damn defensive about it too.

I apologize for not answering your posts. This thread gets out of hand so quickly it's difficult to follow everything.

A lot of what I have been working on and posted some videos of for 1.03 was getting rid of the transmission gear shift craziness, and getting better mpg. I do actually post this several times it just gets immediately buried by other junk.

As far as competition, yes it's always good for the end user / consumer.
Steve is a good guy, I have no issues with him. I do however have long standing issues with some of the people he has worked and developed for.

My concerns / flags were raised when it was posted AND people pm'd me that it could be this same company leaking into this market which has given me so many issues in the past.

People here are not aware of some of the things that happened in the Lexus market and why I walked away from it. I've been assured it's not the case again, but the truck was done at their faciliy. I've been threatened by these guys, they call up my customers and harass them, absolutely insane things people here wouldn't even believe. (not Steve, not gearone). When I heard and saw it was related, I got quite defensive.

I apologize for any out of line or unprofessional behavior as a result. You guys just don't know the history.

You make some good points, however I do think that there is some added value in getting hardware and software that allows us to change our tune whenever we want. Yes, the process has been a bit sketchy, but we're not dealing with Microsoft or Google here... and the community involvement seems to be working in terms of developing something that will make it much easier in the future. Is it twice the price value? Maybe not for everyone, but certainly for me.

All that being said, @OVTune needs to take some advice from Scotty: https://youtu.be/8xRqXYsksFg?t=14

Gear One needs your truck in their shop to tune, rather than providing a remote service like Mat, so Mat already has an advantage there anyway. And at face value from the one review I've seen, it seems like all they do is bump hp/tq rather than the flood of other stuff that OV has done for the drivability of the truck. Definitely correct me if I am wrong .

How long does it usually take to recieve a tune in email once you've gone through the back and forth of sending ECU/TCU readings from PCM Flash? I sent mine last Friday and haven't received anything. Not in spam folder either.
