PTR13-35150 - Bilstein TRD PRO kit - Upgrade??

When I got hold of them on Tuesday, I was on hold for 35 minutes before a rep picked up. Their lines are probably backed up from all the people calling.

 

Crazy. I thought to get 2” with the ICON Progressive you need the Overload. I’m still debating in or out.

 

Well damn, I'm only at 18 mins...

Just called my local parts store. They upped the price at dealerships in my area to $850. Rogue still has em for 695

 

I spoke with someone at toyotapartsdeal.com and they said they will be getting some more for sure, price is 611. Just an FYI

 

OEM Parts World said the same thing. Also, some members here have reported other vendors saying the same thing, but Toyota pulled the shipment from the vendors cause people put a huge demand into Toyota's system. Last I heard when I called the dealerships around is that they are now priced at $850 with over 120 on back order on just dealership orders.

 

At $850 from the dealer, Amazon is cheaper.

 

You single-handedly ruined the future hopes of a suspension upgrade for two whole generations of tacomas. Way to go.

 

I just spoke with my local dealer that I ordered from and he said the kit is back-ordered, try calling back in a few days, but will definitely get there for the price they quoted me. I guess we shall see.

 

Someone in the 3rd Gen thread said that they tried to order from Amazon (not sure if it is the same vendors) and got their order cancelled 3 days later stating they ran out of stocks and would not be getting anymore.

 

I looked this kit up about 3 hours ago...

Rogue has them for $850 on there, bottom right...

 

I called a dozen places today, Rogue is the only place that had them. He is selling them at a reasonable price still. Order on their website if anyone still wants this setup.

 

Rogue is still selling them at 695 on their website, not Amazon. I just placed my order 15 mins ago, and contacted the owner. He had it in stock and even counted how many they had for me. Also, said he is boxing mine up as soon as I get off the phone and will be shipped before end of business today.

 

Yeah, I'm sure Amazon doesn't let them list it there for free...

OEM parts world got back with me! Saying they were able to secure 35 more kits and my order should be filled. The shipment had been cleared by Toyota and should arrive next week.

So now I will have two sets of these suspension... can’t cancel my order from OEM parts world since I have to pay 15% cancellation fee (didnt eve bother asking why) and rogue has already boxed and processed my order.

Well, based on the current trend, you should have no problem making your money back reselling a set.
