Working on the front yard hah. Seems everyone’s taking advantage of the nice weather before it’s hot as balls to do any house work. I’ve only done maybe a 10x12 area, and still have a good 30-40 x 40-50ft area left to do *smh*. Just getting rid of all the grass, and doing rock and then plants and some random stuff like that.

By shovel, yes lol. I know I can rent a tiller but I really want to make sure I get as much of the roots as I can, even with garden fabric I don’t want shit growing.

Hmmm, I may have to get myself some more cookies too... :D

The lupus flare is already starting to die down, thank goodness. Nausea and fevers seem to have already stopped and my hands and feet are mostly back to normal dimensions with the swelling.
I've heard tart cherry extract is good for lupus inflammation so I bought some at Target and took it with breakfast this morning. Still have some chest pain on a deep breath though.:(

I'd rent a tiller. If you are just going to put rock in there lay down preemergent, water it good, then lay your rock. Keep up on the preemergent. That fabirc shit doesn't work very well when it comes to weeds.

Well there will probably be some trees, or plants and stuff all over the yard so I don’t want to ruin the soil to much, more so just have been letting the grass die the last year, so it’s not as bad to get rid of now. But I did ground clear in the back and we still got weeks and shit, so that’s my worry for the front as it’s a bitch to move a bunch of rock just to pull up weeds and grass that grew back.

Did a little plinkin' and exploring today and had all kinds of issues.
2 new/used plinkers have issues and I my rear locker is broke again :)

It's almost time for my 30K service and oil change. May get it done while they look at the locker, again.

Is the $375 injector & throttle body cleaning +oil change worth it? Do the injectors really need cleaning every 30K like the dealer recommends?

NOOOOOOOO oh my god no, do not pay that much for injector and TB cleaning.

Let me preface that a bit, I guess. I'm much more of a DIY kinda guy, like to get my hands dirty and all that. Oil changes I will do myself, especially with the fumoto valve on the truck now.

Cleaning the TB is a pretty simple task you can do yourself with a spray can. Can you undo screws and pull intake pipes apart? Good to go. Plus TB's usually don't get that dirty that quickly.

Fuel injector wise, if you regularly use good quality fuel you should never have any serious issues with your injectors.

Admittedly this does wander more towards "advanced" territory, but if you ever do need an injector service, spend $17 an injector over at
    http://injectorrepair.com/
I'm pretty sure it's still run by just one guy, Jim, but he's awesome and will give you a thorough breakdown of how the injectors are managing, cleans and and replaces all o-rings, and has you on your way in no time flat.
I got a set of 4 injectors for my Miata for $15 ages ago, an absolutely SCREAMING deal and I kinda feared that one or two might be dead, but he flow tested them for me and they were all balanced to within 1.5% out of the box.

What I would do if you end up going that route is snag a set of injectors from a pick and pull, then send em off his way, and when they arrive swap them out so you have a core and exchange set, and your injectors should long, long, loooooooooooong outlast the rest of the truck.
