    The biggest reason is that Molly's sister is getting married in late April and she was not a fan of the beard haha. I did it partly as a wedding gift for them.

    It was also just a whole lot of work to make it look good, and it was a pin in unexpected ways haha. Now I won't have to pull my beard out of the shirt every time I put one on. I was just ready to try something new!

    These days large bushy beards make me think 'hipster' or 'lumbersexual' depending on how they're dressed and my estimation of the amount of maintenance their beard/hair requires. It used to say "I don't care about hair care; this is easy" but now it usually says "I care way too much about hair care; this isn't easy" :notsure:
