That's for the offer on your OE driveshaft. I'm a prerunner, though, so it won't fit. I'd definitely take assistance though. Reading the process in my Haynes manual, it doesn't sound difficult, but it's never a bad idea to have someone around if needed.

I imagine there's a story behind that. I'll have the whole truck off the ground on stands if I do it at the house. If I take the truck to work to do it, I'll be on a lift.

 

Just finished installing my skids and holy shit I’m tired. Anyone want to help me install my sliders?

 

Mobtown sliders? Took me 4 hours for the first side, 2nd side took an hour

 

Yeah they’re mobtown...I don’t like the sound of that haha. I looked at the bag of hardware and realized it could take a while

 

Where are you located?

 

fishing the one bolt into the crossmember and getting it lined up is the hard part.. if I remember correctly. Once you get it, you will figure out how to do the other side pretty quick. Its been a few years since I did mine

I’ll have to take a look at the crossmember. That’s good to know though. I helped my dad install a hitch on his old crossover and the kit came with a piece of wire that spun onto the threads of the bolt to just pull it through the hole. Maybe something like that will help

Jack stand it in place on each end and use hydro jack to push up tight and put bolts in hand tight and then crank them all after lined up.

 

Do they allow people on with just a drivers license?

The instructions don’t look too bad. I’ll probably take a look in the morning if it’s not raining too bad.

 

I wouldn't worry about it. I mean afterall this nutjob believes that inanimate objects kill people. She sounds too stupid to realize that a loaded gun placed on a table will never hurt a soul and it's actually the person who picks up the gun that is the problem in these situations with the shootings.

Mobtown did mine in about an hour and 45 minutes. (But they have a lot of experience, I presume)
