    Lots of sail boat fuel
Not trying to stir the pot but all the welding and gas line dodges were running in our 5* weather while the fords were parked on the side of highways....

Real truck. Please. It's 2018. Most trucks with a solid rear axle do just fine.

In regards to OP with sport vs OR, I agree 100% that the suspension was a deal breaker for me on the sport. If that's the case and you don't want to pull the trigger on an OR, just get a set of aftermarket bilstiens and set them to 0" height. Stock ride with more off the RED OR feel at the cost of an sr5

You know Ima dreamer, and my heart’s offroad. I had to drive away high, so I didn’t get stuck low. Home Sweet Home...
Exactly my suspicion too, @SDTaco4x4 ... regardless, I enjoyed the ride/feel on the OR, AND the clean road picture not being raped by the hood scoop.

... So close I can SMELL that used car smell!

Hey now @Tehkoema ... I’ll be jealous of yours after my first few wax jobs! Grey with Black Rims and Trim was actually my other color choice. The Black was the best deal I could find.

Yeah!!!!!!!! Awesome choice man!!!! U will not regret it! Love the black!

Just read through the threads and mod it well but right. Make sure u enjoy it but it that is is also super reliable. Lifting is great but so many different ways to do so. There r tons of good info on here and u will find some stuff is worth the money and others r stuff that r not necessary to enjoy your new truck. Either way, u have the best platform to get going! So happy for ya man!

For what its worth, I have a 90 mile a day commute, mostly highway but hilly(west Virginia) and I average 19-20 mpg almost always, I have a dcsb SR v6 4x4 and this is with cruise set on 80mph so on hills it kicks to 4th which is around 3500 rpms otherwise it cruises in 6th @ 2k rpm or sometimes if its s slow grade it'll run in 5th @ 2500 rpms. But its my daily and I have been enjoying it, get acquainted with the ect power button too, I've seen no drop in mpg using it when I remember, I'm waiting on the ect always on mod to be back in stock(search it out on here) and then ill be set.

I agree but still one of the most beautiful colors. I was at the dealership the other day for my 15K and they had an all black Pro in the showroom. It already had swirl marks. Still a mean badass color though. When it’s clean and nice, much cooler looking than my silver. I just couldn’t keep up with the washing to keep it looking beautiful. Hey it’s an off road truck though so it should get dirty!

LOL, I bet you said that after the 3rd one too!

Black is so seductive. It’s like that one girl you dated in high school. You knew it probably wouldn’t end well, but you couldn’t resist her.

Smart man. You got more options thrown in the Off-Road model for almost the same price as the Sport!

Not me. Your just saving up front and then spending to bring it back up to an OR. Then you don't have the extra interior comfort features , nor aluminum rims, etc... It would be the same with getting the Sport, and then changing out the suspension.

I know I did it right the first time, and so did the Op!

All personal preference. Compared to my OR w/ PP, SR was at least $7k cheaper. I realized I never use the sunroof and hate it (less headroom). Crawl control is a gimmick—yes, it works. But I am 100% good with just the rear locker.
I can get an ARB in there with a front/rear locker for $2.5k since I can do it myself. Rest of $4.5k, OME suspension, tires (I like the stock steel wheels), and Warn bumper with winch, and sliders. I’d prefer that to my OR.

So if any SR owners want to trade and give me $7k, let’s do it! :D

I don’t agree about the decrease in headroom. U have a sunroof man, stuck your head out of that!!!! Haha Just kidding!
