Haha I did it in 2 days basically. Wqs kinda rushed and didn't get to check out much of the sights. How was the water crossing when you were there? It was way deeper than I was expecting...

That's the most intense part of the road, the rest is fairly tame. I had water coming in the rear doors after driving through the river. I got worried because it seemed to just keep getting deeper...

I have two long bolts on my roof rack I mount mine too with wing nuts when I'm on a trip. They come off without any tools and then all that's left are a couple bolts sticking out of the roof rack that are hardly noticeable. Cost like $3 instead of whatever amount of money they want for the real mounts.

We got nailed by nasty wind again in NV from Sunday morning til Monday AM, about 24 hrs straight. 56-66mph winds recorded in Vegas which is 70 miles south. This time it came from the south instead of north. Was actually a bit worse than the Valentine's Day.

Pretty unsettled kind of weather the past couple weeks. Windy again now, I'll buy an anemometer since this is supposed to continue into next week.

It's workable in a hardside trailer. 56-66mph isn't far off of hurricane force. Windchill is a factor, you can't do much outside unless you absolutely have to, just hunker down. I admire anybody that goes canvas in conditions like that. I'd be wearing longjohns day and night,

Going bigger than a 12? Coilover I assume? Doesn't look like there are spring buckets any more. Stock upper mounts still?

King 2.5x12 RR coilovers, dual rate springs. Main reason is I hated the Icons on my Metal tech rear kit, and hated the lack of up travel, let alone the crap springs they had. Sagged over an inch within a year, just couldnt hold up to my use.
Still stock uppers. Might tweak those a bit though still. Was a pretty big chore just getting a 12" CO under it without chopping into body- have drawers in the back and didnt want to ditch the seats either so kept it all under the body. Next add on will be some hydro bumps to soak up impacts, but that'll be a little later this spring. Not a lot of room left either, might outboard the hydro bump to the outside of the frame, initially thought I'd drop them where the factory coil buckets/perches were but pretty much scrapped that idea now.

Nice. I had the same issues with the Icons, they were garbage, and I am on my second set of springs as well. Next move will be 4 link and coilovers, but going to run them off the top of the axle and through the body. I had plenty of room to put in my bumps, should be enough room for a hydo, I would think, depending on where the coilover ends up. Coilover going inside the frame I assume?

How about a mis fire to start the day. Coil pack was visually arcing on valve cover.
Good thing I had spare coil packs from my part out.

Yep inboard coilover. Looks like '/---o---\' from the back.
While doing that updated 4link in the rear of yours sounds like a lot of work, I have to say I was a LOT of work for me to maintain factory link locations (I completely re-did the track bar though) and wrap my truss around it, plus make new beefier axle end link mounts.
Cant quite tell from your pic, do you still have the gas tank in the factory location still? Mine limits my down travel, upper link hits with a couple inches to go. I'm thinking I might do a bent upper driver side link out of some 1/4" wall tube next to fix it.
