Maybe if Samsung's phone division would stop taking quality lessons from their washing machine division they could build a robust product. In reality they should just stick to microwaves.

:notsure: I've never had issues with any of my Samsungs. Of all the phones I miss was the Casio Commando. That thing was bullet proof.

IMO they all have weak points. The only way Samsungs lasted in they were given to office managers and office broads that never traveled

People are motivated by two primary emotions. Fear, and greed. You post that sign and their greed will create fear.

Whenever my crew would slack off I’d post a sign and take applications. Those signs netted me three of the best employees I ever had.

WTF two things in the news today.

    1. Two African Americans cooks fired at NYU for making a racially insensitive meal served in the cafeteria (ribs, collards, mac n cheese...)

    2. A students home was searched because he said the math symbol Square Root kinda looks like a gun.

Odd, I have an S6, and S8. I travel for work, and occasionally drop on concrete. A scratch or two on the screen is all. I don't use them as hammers. Make the employee buy the replacement if under three years. Hell, I even have a blackberry torch that still works, and that thing has been bounced more than a ping pong ball in a twister.

Nope! Third grader today said he wished he had a ak47 so he could kill himself. Couple of classmates ran to the principle and told. Next the school police were called along with the child's parents.

If my 8yo was talking about suicide, I'd sure as hell want to know ASAFP.

My oldest is 3. He came home from daycare, a rather expensive center, a while ago pointing anything stick like at me, his mother, and 1yo brother, and saying "pew pew pew".

I asked where he learned this from, and he said another kid in his room. That Friday one of the teachers was over at our house with her husband and after a glass of wine.. here comes my kid with his pew pew shit. She jumps into teacher mode and talks him down.

After the ceasefire was obeyed, I was like WTF did that come from?

Apearantly one of the other kid's dad is a HUGE gamer and the kid watches daddy play too much first person shooter games. He also gets to watch the starwars movies upon request... a 3yo.

Now, I don't like telling other people how to raise their kids, but when your brainwashed 3yo is starting to pass some, what I consider, bad traits into my child, I start have a problem... welcome to parenthood.

Now, I have to figure a way to explain to my 3yo how the other child's actions are not appropriate for his age, and that behavior is not acceptable. All while trying to figure out a way to help my son maintain his innocence for a couple more years, before slowly working into how truly ugly and violent this world is.

It only makes me wonder how much of this overreaching issue stems from an overexposure to violence in a child's developmental stages, and parents not adequately explaining the difference between a fantasy and the real world.

That's my WTF for the day. What the fuck are we conditioning and teaching our children for?!?!?

That's the thing, we have already identified the problem and the parents are taking the steps to get the little boy some help. The kid talked to my wife a couple of weeks ago and mentioned the same thing to her, my wife then informed the parents of the situation to take the necessary steps to get him some help. This takes time though, he is scheduled appointment is for next week. The little boy is very smart, bored in class and mentally above his age. He knows he is different from the other so called "normal" kids and gets picked on, bullied etc.... this is the second or 3rd school he has been in and the same issues persist.
I will be the first to tell that you can't control what your child learns or picks up from other people.

Yeah. Frustrating as hell when this dad is teaching his boy what he is.

Sounds like that kid is like what
I was in my childhood, and what I am seeing in my son. Best thing is to foster the intelligence, beyond what the schools try to provide; challenge the shit out of that kid! Luckily the daycare/preschool ours is in, recognized his early on and has been writing an advanced curriculum to keep him challenged and advancing at his potential rate. Doing basic math, starting to read, and a vocabulary that never ceases to amaze me. This morning he holds up some duplos and says "daddy this is an otoscope, it's for looking in your ears." o_O

As for the bullying, well that takes a special kind of confidence and self worth that is conditioned in from early on. Been working on that with my little one. Weekly visits to the climbing gym, riding his balance bike, doing land navigation in the woods with a map and starting to show interest in how to use a compass. When he's about 5 we are enrolling him in Judo classes then once he has the basics and control, BJJ, that way he can deal with his bullies. :)

Some may disagree with my parenting, but at least he isn't "shooting" people when he disagrees with them.
