How often do you use your truck for hauling more than you would want to carry in a car or towing? It seems like nobody has a truck so I'm always helping people, and was wondering, I use mine at least once a week. Also if you wat include what and specific on how often

Carrying what a car can't carry? Hardly ever.

Carrying more than I would want to carry in a car? A few times a month.

I make the short bed work for me. I do ALOT of small/medium sized furniture moving for people and haul empty kegs for my buddies.

I ONLY use my truck as a truck. Otherwise, I drive my roommate's 30mpg ford escort, or my motorcycle.

The only time I use my truck is to haul stuff, be a recovery vehicle for my friends, or to go wheeling (once a month or more).

...as well as being a guy who drives a truck. Which I think you'll all agree is a crucial component of being a truck owner.

I use my truck as a truck all the time, everyday. And I live in a very rural area w/lots of gnarly muddy roads, so it is hardly ever clean and gets to 4x4 quite often:D

    it hauls:
surfboards & people a few times a week
dirt and plants daily (I teach gardening @ local school)
    lumber/building supplies
rubbish to the landfill weekly (we have to haul our own)
    other people's crap...and my crap...

I wished I used my truck more for a truck. I normally haul trash or garbage to the dump every once in a while. Or if I go into town and go shopping I'll throw some bags in the back. Summer time it gets used more for camping and fishing when I get the time.
