me too, keep hitting refresh on my e-mail for a shipping notice lol... oh well our time will come. just stoked that the reception has been overwhelmingly positive! and it gives me a bit to decide if I want to do the 87 or 91 flash, and see some real MPG numbers once people get used to how it drives (ie keep their foot out of it lol)

That's what I thought. Mat indicated a few days ago that the protection for his intellectual property is now contained in the dongles.

So when flashing the tcu we need to download the tcu file from (calibrations file)? Then change to gearbox and flash?

That is correct. Same procedure as the ECU just choose gearbox. I had the same question last night.

It looks like anyone can download the Flash Manager and the files. Even those of us who delayed buying the tune until after us guinea pigs tested the tune. You know who you are... You just need the dongle to have the licensing key for PCM Flash to work. Just need to know what his truck is running and email him those specific files. Alternately, can download all the files and email all.

 

Look at his posts from last night - you won’t be sent anything.

Download NEW flash manager exe file
Open and download both the ECU and tcu file for your truck / octane
Plug in dongle
Plug in tactrix cable and connect to your truck
Turn ignition to on with engine off
Open PCM flash
Select P5 Canbus from the drop down (not the gearbox)
Select the ECU file to write and write it as normal
Turn off ignition then turn it back on with engine off
Select the gearbox P5 canbus from the drop down
Find the TCU file you downloaded and write it to the gearbox

Complete, turn off the truck and fire it up
