This was the reply I got after I left the above comment on there page. Hello Eric. So sorry for the inconvenience. Generally speaking, for warranty issues a loaner vehicle would be included, and again apologize for the mix up. You're right, certainly not the first time experience we wanted you to have with our service team, and I will be sharing your feedback with the service team so we can avoid this in the future. Thank you for the feedback Eric, and apologize for the inconvenience.

This was my reply with no response.

I was in for warranty concerns so why was I told otherwise today? Good customer service would have been to acknowledge the mistake on your end & offer a loaner vehicle this visit. Was not offered that, I was just told that he the writer would have to explain the cost of the loaner given to me if he did that to the service director. Seems to me in not doing so will cost you far more than what a loaner vehicle would have. Its unfortunate as I was looking forward to doing business with your dealership. Maybe besides sharing this as feedback you try to correct this situation. This should not have happened period!

I bought my 2017 from Smart but only because they had the set up I wanted. Didn't have a great experience either, the negotiation process was just...off putting. I bought an 08' from Eastside several years ago and they are my current dealer, love them. They actually just ordered the TRD Pro suspension kit for me for only $575. Most of the guys in the thread about it were paying low-to-mid $600's and some mid to high $600's

Bought my truck from Smart. Not a bad experience. Then bought her car a few years ago. It was the WORST experience ever! Probably will never buy from them again. But the parts department continues to give me good deals (discounts and freebies). The last time I took my truck in for recall work (leaf springs) I had to remind them that recall work was at no cost to me, that means free loaner! For what they charge for labor loaners should be free! And the loaners I’ve had were always nice, new and clean.

Unfortunately, Racine Toyota hasn’t been much better for me either... My service appointments have left a lot to be desired and it feels like they try to get by with the bare minimum. Case in point: not putting up new window stickers after oil changes, not resetting the TPMS light, and when we bought my wife’s CX-5, they didn’t touch the inside, leaving stains, crumbs, and dog hair everywhere.

They did come through in a pinch a few Christmases ago when I snapped my rear leaf springs and needed to get them repaired under recall, with a brand new at the time, 2016 Tacoma.

May have to start driving down to CarMax-Toyota in Kenosha to see how they treat their customers...

When I got my Tacoma at Russ Darrow in West Bend, sales man told me that his boss said I was nickel and dime in them to death. All because I wanted a small dent fixed. Well that ment a new TRD decal. Oh ya, some gas in the tank.

I have not had a good experience at Racine Toyota either and that's just looking for parts, switchboard transfers you to parts and no body answers the phone ever.

Don't know about carmax in Kenosha other than they said that if they did my frame replacement, I would be 6 to 8 months without my truck.

In Madison, my Smart Toyota story was a charge of $459 to replace 1 spark plug and a wire that was worn thru and causing a misfire.

No explanation for the charges I am going to leave them feedback and see if I can get a response.

I deal with Mark motors in plover and they have been great to me with the purchase of my taco and just got my wife a 4runner from them last summer. I’ve had good luck with services and they did good job on installing my supercharger.

When we got the Tacoma at Russ Darrow we had the same salesman as we had when we got the wifes Rav4. Since he knew us he didn’t come along for the test drive, well I guess that' a no no. He got sent home for this. Had to finish the deal with someone else.

I’ve had salesman go both ways for test drives. I even had one salesman send another salesman on a test drive with me. The latter actually talked me out of the purchase.

It seems like the local Toyota dealers have the mentality of screw em all as their will always be plenty of customers no matter how we treat them. I guess I'm just expecting to much out of them lol.

It's not just your area. I drive 70 miles if I need anything from a Toyota Dealership because the ones local to me are horrible.
