@BartMaster1234 I had the 5100/OME 811 setup prior to my Kings and they rode great on the street, even offroad but they just can't take a beating like a 2.5 coilover can. But if you're looking for something affordable is definitely not a bad way to go. I couldn't do new leaf springs at the time so I went with the 3 leaf AAL on my stock pack (had plenty of life in them with 30k miles at the time) which I still have to this day...rides a bit stiff in the rear but better than blocks I'm sure.

Oh they advertise up to 2" lift with the 881s but I barely got 1" with them, if you want more I'd go with the 882s or 883s if you plan on adding weight. I got the whole setup front/rear from Headstrong for under $900 IIRC

I don’t know technical names, I think that might have been the issue, I’ll put the wheel back on and see what happens.

I haven’t used the ebrake in months, freakin ice must be heavy

Anyone know if you can drop the transmission with the starter still attached to the bellhousing?

Got one of the bolts out of the starter but the other one has broken off.

I think its my last one to get off (6th bolt, not including 3 dust cover bolts, or is there 7 bolts?) before I can drop the trans.

Probably 2/3, it’s not a huge issue, was just curious.

Strange, have you change your fuel filter at all. Maybe run some seafoam and see if the injectors have some gunk.
Also you can check the voltage of the fuel pump to make sure it's running properly, don't have the instructions on it though..

Filters probably the original , it runs fine when driving normally, I was just trying to get up a pretty steep hill.
I’m your age , I’m usually getting up at 11pm though....

Cool sights! Do you have anything to keep the rear axle from going into your shocks?

We all just have a messed up sleeping schedule. I do the same thing, I get home, sleep for a couple hours, wake up and go to sleep late. I still get the same amount of sleep as most people but it's just spaced out throughout the day.

Okay... so I can choose between a front plated bumper and sliders or an all around suspension lift. What should I do?

I'm a fan of sliders and skids first if you plan to use your truck in the dirt and rocks. Those easily save lots of damage. But lift is a good idea too, without stronger front springs a bumper will be a sag factory haha
