I'm just trying to figure out why the hell you would sweeten that meal at all.

 

For the green beans, it turned out really well actually

 

Well I didn’t put very much anyways lol

 

Maybe stewed tomatoes instead of paste too. Paste is kinda bland.


Think I would have just gone with a simple chicken and rice pot for those ingredients.

Boil the chicken in water till falling apart. (could add a couple bullion cubes if you want)
Use the chicken stock you cooked the chicken in as water for the rice.
Add a can of stewed tomatoes
Still could have done the green beans in it
Maybe even an onion, some salt and pepper.
covered for 20 minutes, no peeking.
Stir after 20 and go to eating. The rest of the water will be absorbed by the rice.

 

Sugar is for lima beans not green beans.

 

My dad made green beans with Splenda and chicken bouillon cubes the entire time I grew up and they never turned out below exeptional

 

Have to try that sometime. Always open to something new.

 

I've seen a few people at the fire station cook green beans with Italian dressing also. Those are pretty good too.

 

Yeah tomato paste might’ve been a mistake, the reason I didn’t do the chicken like that was a had a bag of frozen chicken I’d forgotten about I needed to cook and get out of the freezer

 

You can still boil it the same way.

 

I’ll have to do that next time

 

Something else that's good is cut a vidallia onion up with some cucumbers and put a little water and white vinegar on them with some salt and pepper.

Well last night i ordered my new cb setup. And some falken wildpeak M/T's. Now i have to save up for a winch, 20"light bar and amber pods for the new front bumper. And some new ditch lights so i can move my current ditch pods to my new HC rear bumper.
