Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I got that, I just saved the file to my own Google drive then went in and downloaded it from there.

 

Interesting.. but I dunno how to do that. I have some Google Docs set up that I share with others in my company, but I've never used Google Drive for anything.

 

@OVTune Since the flash manager won't run on XP I had to start over and install it on a different computer. Do I have to do the whole thing over sending you the files back and forth? When I run the guardiat software and do resume and try to install the file I got last time it says invalid dump size check it or contact developer. I have been fucking around with computers all day trying to get this to run on one of my macs.

 

That link doesn't even download a useable file. I'm on Windows 7. It tries to open Adobe to view that file. God I hate Windows.

 

Thats odd. I'm on my Mac right now and it even downloads to the Mac. Of course, you cant do much with a .exe on the Mac.

Those are step by step instructions to get around the Google drive virus issue. It worked for me.

In addition to your computer anti virus, make sure your browser AV is disabled if applicable.

No, once the serial is put on the dongle it's there. No need to redo.

How about for us that keep getting the virus problem when trying to download PCM Flash 1.1.93?

 

Got around the virus issue by using a google app to unzip it to my personal google drive. From there I was able to download it.

How did you get it to work? Care to share?

 

I had this problem before the flash but after I got the TSB update. It was to the point that I only used ECT when merging onto he freeway.

 

So what’s the difference between the forthcoming version that isn’t as good for gas mileage and the one that was release last night? Is it an Otto cycle only toon?

 

Google Drive says the file is in my Drive, but I can't find it.

The link from the V2 instructions brought me to download pcmflash 1.1.83 which I already have.

 

if you already have it you don't need it again. just use the flash manager to download your tunes and nothing else, then flash them like you would before.

I can’t download anything from flash manager. When I select an calibration file and click on it, nothing happens at all.

 

Going for a drive. Going to make a video kinda how I did for 1.02.
