I spoke with Praxair AND Miller headquarters tech support, nothing available, discontinued and nothing ever superseded it. So he’s gonna have to bite the bullet and invest in a new one. All the gears I’ve found online are worn and used, and that’s what’s inside his machine now, it won’t feed the wire properly

 

@ChadsPride initial welds, smoothed over. There are a couple spots on each side that need one more touch of the welder, followed by a final smooth of those, and paint

 

Looks good to me! Should look OEM at after paint.

 

That’s what I’m aiming for. After doing this I realized I could have cut inwards a little more to gain even more clearance but I’m not hitting the cab now like I was. I’d say from factory, the plates are now halfway back from the full amount I could have cut out.

@ChadsPride i hope this helps you with routing, shows how it comes up the cab on the outside of the frame, then crosses over to the inside by the cab mount, then up the hard brake lines and to the aux panel

I know the truck is dirty and needs cleaned, just waiting till the cmc is painted and the rain stops

That's exactly what I will do with all my wires going from back to front.

With the coax, I think I will go in one of the grommets on the drivers side underneath the cab.

 

Have any extra lil clips for the body holes? ​

 

If you mount the antenna on the bed stiffeners, yes you’ll have to go in a grommet under the cab, for me, just like tacopromatt, I mounted on the ath corner bracket and 18ft was perfect to route it into the cab through the firewall grommet and to the cb, and I mean just long enough lol

 

Right on, I'm not sure the length of mine...will check that out for sure.

 

I can get more, I used 4 total. 3 went where factory steps would mount, one shared a bolt on the sliders

You can see here how much I removed for the CmC, went back about half of what it was. Primed it tonight and I’ll hit it with Matte Black Rustoleum in the morning

 

That sucks. As far as I've seen most of the parts for mine are still available or the ones from other welders will fit it.

 

Painting is complete. If I ever rub again I’m just gonna redo it and cut back to the maximum allowed.
