In less you do it. No one can understand the skill and thought process you need to have to diag things like this.

Stripes will not work on that Bubble hood ,if I do paint the Camaro the stripes will be removed and painted red once again !!!

I’ve never seen the hood on with a front view so I guess the parameters aren’t there.

I had visions of a 69 Z28 paint hood.

Here's a pic of the hood showing the bubble

As you can see the bubble doesn't line up with the stripes

What grind are you using?

 

I've never made jerky like that. I'd imagine you end up with a more uniform product.

 

Shit, the stripes would cover the side of the bubble white.

How about an old school single stripe but like the camaro style down the middle the width of the top of the scoop.

I didn't think of that. I'll grab what our store calls a "breakfast steak". They are cut really thin so I just slice it into strips and dehydrate it with pepper and garlic powder and, occasionally, pepper flakes.

 

I've not seen any style stripe that looks good !!

 

That’s what I did the first time.
I forget the name.
Those were already in strips per say.I just took the excess fat off it and split it down the middle for half the thickness. Wasn’t hard but I saved 4 bucks doing it this way. So over time if I continue to do it like this the gun will be a savings. I’m just having fun.

If you don't like the texture you might look into any meat markets in your area that grind their own and see if they'll run you off a couple pounds of sausage grind.
