Wow. For $650. That I can not justify to myself is worth it. I’ll stick to my leather steering wheel cover that I get at Walmart for $19.99 or less and just replace it when it gets worn. That is definitely not a cosmetic purchase I will be adding. @JerryTaco you have to be getting this for almost nothing to promote it for them. Please tell me that is correct. I can’t even imagine you jumping on this with how you don’t add cosmetic touches just to add them to your truck

It looks like it's just a re-wrapping of the steering wheel, not really a new wheel being built. The price seems to echo that as well. I had a used BMW M3 where the last owner had the steering wheel wrapped in new leather and M3 color stitching. It was nice and he said it cost about the same

Why I am doing it doesn't really matter, but it's a really nice custom touch

My only comment is WOW! $650 for Red Stitching, but you can add $100 for whatever custom color you would like. I guess I would rather purchase the 1.03 OVTune to increase my trucks performance for the $769.
That answers my question. Lol Yes. I agree it’s a nice custom touch for anyone interested in making that cosmetic purchase. Never in my right mind did I ever think of you to be the front runner with this custom touch item tho. Good for you. Can’t wait to see your pics. Did you get white stitching? Are you going to paint your interior trim pieces white?

Lol, absolutely not!! Never. Ever.. but clearly you've never driven and therefore cannot appreciate a vehicle with a top quality leather wrapped wheel. The "leather" toyota uses is a joke.

    Oh and no to white..

Stopped by Frontrunner Outfitters and picked me up a set of load bar pads. Finally installed the window visors that's been sitting in storage for weeks. Then went for a drive.

Lol. Ok. I never use any of my new vehicles steering wheels without a steering wheel cover. Right now I have a leather one on my steering wheel and it feels amazing to the touch. Plus when it gets worn, just like any steering wheel does when you drive the vehicle, I can just replace it for a measly $20. To each their own. Right? It’s just like people that get the Katskinz leather seats verses the Clazzio Seat Covers. I love my Clazzio Seat Covers and they are extremely comfortable and you wouldn’t be able to tell they weren’t OEM. I’ll save this $650-$750 for my OVTune that will increase my power and performance of my truck for $769.

Just had to give you a little shit since you give me so much shit about cosmetic purchases and mods on my truck and that you don’t just add things to add them. You add things that increase your trucks performance for what a truck is supposed to be used for. I’m happy you can add some cosmetic touches as well to your truck ;) I’m also glad you can take me giving you some shit back with this one. You deserve this one.

It looks like it's more than just red stitching. They also lost 100% genuine leather which is why I think it's a complete re-wrap. If the leather quality is good, then that's not a bad price (but it's not the cheapest either).

Vinyl film. It was still in progress. It is a matte film though. Made for headlights

Now that may be what I’d pay for. My moms Lincoln has heated and cooling steering wheel and it is amazing!!!

Yeah just like @mesojdm stated, I think they would have been a lot better off with a custom piece if they added Heating/Cooling to the steering wheel. I’m not saying it’s not nice, because it better be damn sweet for that price. I mean I didn’t even spend that much money on my Clazzio Seat Covers and that covers my whole Cab of my truck. Yes I know it’s not all real leather, before I get that comment made back to me, but it sure looks and feels absolutely amazing. Makes my ride so much nicer. @JerryTaco maybe you can give them some feedback and see if they can add Heating/Cooling to the steering wheel. A heated steering wheel for $650, just maybe, I’d then think about it and I’m sure a lot more taco owners would too. Why they are at it, they should add a black Toyota Emblem on the steering wheel as an option ;)

They turned out looking pretty good, but, as I feared, the tint pretty much ruins the function of the projector. It basically just turns the light into the old halogen light with no beam direction.
I am probably going to just peel the tint and look at some of the aftermarket black headlights. I don't have a spare set for a blhm project and can get aftermarket lights cheaper.

black out as much of the inside, while leaving the lens clear. Not the other way around. Light output will degrade tremendously trying to tint the outside.
