To be clear, I didn't buy that. My wife saw me looking at it and I almost had to walk home carrying it...I mean, if I was walking home about it, I'd be buying it for sure.

15 mile walk with a grill that isn't necessarily heavy to carry, that's just really big and awkward to hold. Maybe could have stopped and stolen a shopping cart to push it home in.

Were you in your truck? If so, tell her she had to walk home if she didn't let you buy it.. Simple.

I couldn't justify it since I just bought a new grill a few months ago. I honestly don't see the fascination with the special edition one. The only thing I want from it is the lid bale.

I was looking for a 14" wsm. I'd probably walk 15 miles home with that.

This: I don’t get it either. A few months back when I did a short stretch with Bargain Hunt we fairly regularly had the black version of that model for $89.00-$99.00. They never stayed around long enough for the price to drop, as per Bargain Hunts’ time based price reduction schedule.

I got a copper color one there for $80ish.

Most of the bargain hunts here now are moving more and more away from the price reduction thing and just having a static price on things that never reduces except for sales. It's no where near as good as it used to be.

I agree 100% on both points. I even noticed that more and more items was labeled with the static pricing even before I left. Everything comes in with a price label attached, it’s not labeled at store level. I scored quite a few awesome deals the short time I was there, the best was a new in box $800.00 (Amazon) treadmill, was marked down 80%, then with my employee discount I walked out for $83.xx

Put two shoulders on this morning - one bone-in, one boneless. Will be interesting to see if there’s a difference in the cook.

They are based here so those stores are everywhere. In the past couple of years, I've even seen them re-date items. They'll put new price labels over older dated ones to avoid the discount.
