So I'm guessing the ride will still be terribly harsh until I get armor no matter what.

Go to RockAuto.com and get the entire assembly. Heck I spent under 200 for a complete set of Monroes, all four corners. Otherwise, your need to decompress the heck out of that spring. Saw a guy do it on YouTube if you’re really wanting to do it yourself.

I gave away two years worth of new misc Tacoma mis-ordered parts to another Tacoma guy. Mostly penny and dime stuff. I don't like clutter. It was time to clean out the garage and get ready for the next big thing with my truck.

They still had the 650lb springs as Zane mentioned, but I didn't feel like it was all that harsh. But then, it's a truck, so I expect it to be truck-like. But to me, it didn't seem much different than stock.

To put it another way - I notice much more harshness with E load tires (vs. C load) than I did with these coilovers.

C loads helps so much. Trucks are heavy enough for the Es.

Replaced all my belts (alternator, ac, ps) this afternoon in my dorm parking lot. Doing my spark plugs and wires next weekend in preparation for a trip to New Mexico over spring break. Hopefully I'll return with some parts as I'm planning the trip around one or two pick and pull yards.

My thinking exactly. Mine is going away, come spring. I want to get my seat lower. That would drop it a couple of inches all around, if you just bolt directly through the floor, with no brackets on the rails (which is the way the BMW rails are) Thanks again!!!
