    I am thinking after about a year, the 2016-2017 part number for the Pro Grille will be obsolete and the part number for the current 2018 will be the same for 2016-2019 and beyond. Then Toyota will have a new separate part number for the honeycomb part for the 2016-2017 models and the TSS garnish part number for the 2018 and beyond. I cannot see it feasible for Toyota to stock the exact same grille with different part numbers for the long run. JMHO.

    This is very correct. Anyone who recently ordered a new OEM such as myself will notice that the part number embossed on the grill is actually the 2018 part number and it comes in a box with the 2016-17 part number.

    Mine has the removable garnish as well.

    Bummer, I would prefer black. I like that grill and I can always plasti-dip them or look into that vinyl. Do you know who sells that vinyl covering?

    I can tell you that the packaging of the grille is great. My only complaint was with the double sided tape for the letters. You have to be careful with it because all of it wants to come up. Used a small pic screwdriver and it worked well. Tweezers will work also.
