    Whole lotta stuff
Hmm thanks! This might be something I need to play with. Wonder if I could get away with a 16" coil.

If anything, your 650 lb coil will hold up a bit more weight vs the 600lb, good if you have a bumper/winch or plan on getting that stuff.

Ya, the main difference about them is one is rated 600lbs (the pro kit) and other is 650lbs (Baja kit). The pro will ride softer and cushier, the Baja will be firmer. If you plan to install steel bumpers and winch, then you should be good.

I will only install aluminum bumper and winch so only adding 120 lbs total to the front, but my OR comes with only 550 lbs. rating so it’ll sag.

I picked up my truck from the dealership after getting some other service work performed, another immobilizer key cut, and the TRD Pro suspension installed, with a Wheeler's 3 Leaf AAL.

    Specific Options:
    • TRD Pro Suspension Kit
    • Bilstein Replacement Upper Rear Shock Bushings
    • Wheeler's Off-Road 3-Leaf Progressive AAL
    • Rear Overload Spring Removed
    • Eagle Alloy Wheels w/ 265/75/17 BFG A/T KO2, Load C
My first thoughts are that I really like it. I like the look, ride, and handling. I would say it's a touch firmer than stock, on my 2015 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off-Road, but the rear is MUCH better damped in normal driving. Things that would seem to upset the ass-end of the truck, don't seem to do that now. It just feels much more planted. No vibrations or noises occurred and the alignment seems to be spot on. I had considered installing with the 1/4" front spacers I bought from Wheeler's and leaving the overload in, but I'm glad I didn't because I didn't want to push my luck. I had also considered installing my Sumo Springs I have sitting in the garage, but didn't do that either. I may install them in the near future though.

It has a nice but subtle rake and I wouldn't change a thing. The first pic is from yesterday morning before I dropped it off and the second pic was after I've driven it about 20 miles post-lift.

While I did pay a bit more to have the kit installed, they performed two alignments on the truck to ensure it was dead on. The tech looks to have followed the instructions and they even adjusted my headlights. All of my original parts were re-boxed and everything is accounted for. No complaints about Elk Grove Toyota. If you need service, go see Charles and tell him David with the Tacoma sent ya. For the before/after pics, I have the rubber bed mat and all of the suspension parts in there, so say around 120lbs of extra weight, plus the soft bed cover.

See post 910 below for better level ground pics.

Had mine installed this week along with a new frame and TSB leafsprings. They started taking the truck apart before I even knew the frame had come in. So no measurements. Will get new tires next week and decide on the lift for the rear.

Has anyone run into the issue of the AAL Clamp/Rivet riding on top of the overload? I picked up a take off 2018 Pro leaf pack and just eyeballing it off of the truck it looks like the rivet on AAL will be sitting on the OL

I know I’ll have to grind off the rear stock clamp...

Truck looks great! Do you have stock UCAs and do you know what your alignment numbers are ?

Is this "after" picture with the 3 leaf aal installed? And you're still nose high?

Well, my order from Rogue is still set to processing but a 3-leaf Icon AAL showed up today from IN, a day after I ordered. So I guess that’s part of my order. A good sign I guess. I assume they drop-shipped my AAL from IN and the coilovers are coming from NV.

Here are a couple more pics. The truck was not parked on level, flat ground in the first pics. The truck does have some added weight in the bed. The suspension has not settled yet either. I was just trying to replicate the before picture.

Keep in mind, the driver side front has the spring set with more preload. If I was sitting in the truck, it would ride slightly lower up front as well.

If you want a definite rake, leave the overload in. I'm happy with the look. Sorry for the nighttime pics, but I found the brightest place in my neighborhood to take a pic on level, flat ground.

Stock UCAs. I do have the alignment numbers and can post them tomorrow. Truck drives fine, other than a stiffer ride, it tracks like it did before the suspension swap.

Nice! Yeah I think that curved curb visible under the truck in the first "after" photo really messed with perspective.

Will this set up work on bigger lifts? I'm pretty new to this and bought mine lifted. Think it's n-fab.

I installed the lift myself. It’s the first time I’ve done any suspension work and while I certainly took my time, it was very straight forward. I decided to have a shop install the AAL though because I don’t have tall enough jack stands or the proper c clamps and some other stuff I would need to do it right. My question is, how much have y’all been paying to just have the AAL installed? Most shops are quoting me over 2.5 hours in labor!

I don’t want to pay more than a couple hundred bucks for this. Have any of y’all paid for the AAL installation but do everything else yourself?

If you did the front, you can do the rear. I bet even after you bought the stuff you need,it would be cheaper than labor costs.
