Yeah, I am cheap though... so had to try lol. I was hoping an HID kit would output enough light, but the tint stops the spread of the light, so visibility is not good. I am thinking I am just going to go with the OEMassive headlights. Not looking forward to pulling that bumper off...

Just under $3200. They don’t have a dealer east of Chicago so I had to road trip it from
    Detroit.

Was hoping the light tint would work. Already spent too much money trying to get oem headlights to retro.

I like the way they turned out, but the light output is just too low and there is no beam pattern. Without having a real fog light, there is just not enough light for me to be comfortable. I was afraid that would be the case, but had to try with how much cheaper it would have been. The OEMassive lights are under $400. It is just the amount of work it will take to pull that bumper that I didn't really want to do if I didn't have to.

I've already spent $900 on 2 sets OEM headlights and none are usable. May get some money back but done trying at the moment. Might just put a decal on side marker and call it good...lol

Flipped my tires was kinda over the white lettering, liking the black out a lot better.

Hardest part is getting the chrome ring separated from the leather sleeve. Love the way this thing looks and feels. :D

Backing out the emblem would be messing with the airbag and that comes with liability. In general, shops messing with an airbag as all is kind of a no no so more and more shops are less willing to do it.

Speaking only for myself, I am willing to spend money in quality, that goes with anything I buy, and believe me, these wheels are beyond nice and improving a sub par surface in the truck.

But if you think it's expensive, nobody is forcing you to buy it. It's just a cool custom piece, that will have some added features. I haven't been satisfied with the leather wheel in any of my tacomas, Toyota just uses cheap material which for most users is just fine. But with the direction that my interior is going, this wheel will fit right in. Now just gotta take care of the door panels and sound system.

Ha ha, we'll see. sound system is what I'm really excited about. Gonna be without the truck for about a month and a half, which will be painful. Top two in the running are focal and audison, but leaning toward audison

although components are critical, The installation and an installer that knows how to tune the processor are equally important. I can make $50 speakers sound ok, and $1000 ones sound like shit. Source: ran a car stereo shop for a while

So true and they have to be returned every so often My ranger has a system but has to be returned every year after sitting for so long. Time consuming to get it right without equipment to do it.

Oh couldn't agree more. If the installer doesn't know what they are doing, the best components will sound like shit. I chose a top notch shop here in town. These guys are true audiophiles and turn out some incredible work. Very finicky about even the smallest detail and spend a lot of time tuning the systems to perfection.

We have another place in Scottsdale that specializes in the highest end home audio. That place is incredible. They've got several demo "environments" all well over a million bucks. It's an absolute experience spending an afternoon there. Fuck, even the speakers are works of art in themselves. Only home audio place I've been that has THAT much on demo.

Speaking of interiors, I finally picked me up some Black Interior Door Handles. Getting all of that chrome out of here slowly but surely. I will be doing the install this coming week or the following. Why I’m at it, I’m going to continue to sound deaden the doors as well. It shouldn’t have an affect on when I upgrade my sound system later on. Already have my Floor and Rear wall complete. Most likely will be doing the Roof when I exchange my third brake light in the near future as well. Then all my sound deadening will be complete. I also picked me up some Black Rear End Caps to replace my Chrome End Caps that I plastidipped. I will finally be installing Flush Wide Cornering S2s as well. I cannot wait for delivery of these items
