The one I gave you is only a single-DIN unit and thus not compatible with a backup camera...

The Sony that replaced the first Pioneer in September 2016 ended up being defective...

By May 2017, the Sony was having serious glitches. Instead of getting another Sony or another Pioneer like I should have, I exchanged the Sony for the Boss head unit. The Boss worked better than the Sony and even had GPS, but it lacked built-in iPod control and the USB interface was useless...

My new Pioneer head unit, which we (my neighbor and me) will be installing next weekend...

Single-DIN means it just a normal-sized stereo slot...

Double means it takes up the space of two normal-sized head units...

Yeah, older ones, but new vehicles generally have the radio integrated into the dashboard and it requires a special bezel to adapt it for an aftermarket unit...

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but here it goes again...

One time in like 2012, I driving home from the gym which was like 4 minutes from where I lived at the time. I decided to take a look at a new business complex that was going up, and while I was driving around the parking lot, some random stranger in a black Lincoln Navigator started following me...

    Read on...

First of all, let me tell you that I literally drive through new developments all the time to look at the new houses being built...

It's one of my favorite pastimes, and guess what?!?! Nobody gives a shit!

Second of all, I did not get out of my truck and start taking pictures or ANYTHING!

So this neighborhood is actually connected to my old neighborhood by one street, but it is two different builders. Both were townhome developments, each with a community center that featured a gym and swimming pool. The biggest difference between this neighborhood and the one where we used to live was that the other neighborhood had a commercial office complex. I think it was summer, but I'm not sure. All I remember is that the sun had gone down, but it wasn't quite dark yet. I was driving home from the gym (the blue arrow shows the direction the gym is in), and I made a left turn into the neighborhood (marked by the red line, which also shows the path I remember taking. I was in my pristine (and at the time bone stock) Tacoma, wearing my gym clothes. I'm pretty sure the aforementioned guy in the black Navigator worked there, and he had just pulled out of one of those parking spaces in the center of the complex. The blue X marks approximately where the Navigator was when the guy decided to hang a left and start following me.

My windows were up, I wasn't taking pictures, and I just stayed in the truck the whole time. The Navigator followed me all the way around the outside of the complex, and at some point I realized he was actually following me. Not knowing what his intentions were, I floored it and hauled ass out of the neighborhood, using the same way I'd come in (red arrow marks the way home)...

Still haven't been able to figure this one out, and yes, it probably made me look even more suspicious, but I didn't know what the guy in the Navigator was capable of...

Did you read the story about the random guy in the Navigator following me?

Didn't get out of the Tacoma, take pictures, or do anything...

    Follows people?

Well, I wasn't in a POS. I was in a well-maintained Tacoma, at the time about two years old with like 20K on the clock!
