    @mesojdm , I am assuming that this module requires constant power to keep the ECT button always on, do you know how much current draw it will take? Let’s say the truck sits for a month, will it drain down the battery so it require me to jump start it? Thanks!

    So how does the module keep it on? Is it programmed to switch it on every time the ignition is turned on?

    It has flash memory. It remembers stuff(whatever mode you left it in) even when power is disconnected and re applied. Like your computer:)

    I think we need to start a thread on how many times a-day the ECT gets pushed. Can't wait for your magic MESOJDM! My wife actually asked me the other day, "can't you make that thing stay on all the time? Your pushing it every time we get in the truck!"

    I’m going to have to retrain myself when I order this. I press it so many times a day. I drive in s5 a lot. When I’m driving a 45mph stretch I will tap it twice to let it go in 5 gear, than back to etc mode. I still think it’s crazy that we do this lol

    If that would’ve been the case, we would see a million threads of people complaining about mpg, etc. Then meso would have invented a device that always have ECO mode.
