That crossing was on an old logging road in the North Maine Woods, probably as remote as you can be on the east coast. A beaver had damned up the road. I got out and waded it, chest deep, but the bottom was real solid. Believe it or not that was actually the easiest part of that route, just ask @hard2kill. We spent the next 3 hours clearing trees out of creek and winching our way out of a 5ft bank

@cynicalrider I've gone through 2 reman cardone pumps, still have one screaming at me. Plan to go brand new OEM when I can.[/QUOTE]

Did you clean/clear your PS reservoir screen when you replaced your pump? My Cardone rebuild has held up nicely so far, but it’s only been about 2 years.

ok. I was thinking about a bed tool box, but have changed my mind now. Sorry to get your hopes up

Looking for a canvas bed tonneau, but not a trifold one. Also looking for under $100. Long or short bed.

It’s all good. I’m indifferent. They’re actually kind of handy to have in the garage.

I believe in scouting as well. Bigger trips I try to remember my fishing waders for the unexpected.. That’s def a solid pass. Staying calm and not hammering it goes against everything your mind wants to do. This pass prob the deepest I’ve been. I’ve run it a few times as the water level changes being a moving stream so wasn’t worried bout the bottom. The bottom is sandy but first run through is the firmest. Entered super slow, got a little hood dunk, and followed the wake to the end. The wake in front of me makes the water around the truck look shallow but if I stopped in the middle it’d be up to the fenders for sure.

    That sounds super fun actually.

Put grip tape on my sliders today. I was wearing shorts and wasn’t used to have grip tape. Slid out of my truck and removed a solid two layers of skin off my leg. Thanks @Tatts521

At 29min when the water goes over the hood and the narrator says "It's not as deep as predicted" like they're not even concerned until it's halfway up the windshield.
