Looks good man. By the time I had finished mine, doors and all, I added close to 60lbs of deadening to the truck. But it's been great. Much quieter then before. I hope yours turns out the same.

This would be a good time to build a storage bin in the back, something more useful than what it came with stock. It made a huge difference on the backseat clutter with mine.

Found a lot of the stock deadener on the floor was hardly attached, so decided I will do the floor.

Got to work on the first door. Huge PITA.

Tossed a little foam over top the inner layer and got the door panel back on.

Glad I'm not in a hurry to get this done.

Cleaned up some of the wiring in the cab. Got the seat heater wiring ready to go. Hopefully they don't get to hot. :bananadead:

Little bit of sound deadening to finish up, then reassemble the interior, and then it's on to installing these.

Springs look cool. I should have bought a set years ago, but here I am still rolling on stock ones. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts once they're on

I'll certainly relay my thoughts on them after I get some miles, and especially off-road miles, on them. However, they're probably quite a bit different than most people would spec the Springs, so not sure how helpful it will be.

    4" of lift and +1,000lbs

I know I bring a lot but, I don't bring that much. I'm trying to pack lighter really... I still have another leaf to add into my pack if I think I'm pushing it but i really like where it was riding today. Gotta load up the truck to mock up my weight soon though.

    That was reccomended by Alcan.

Truck is about 1400 lbs over stock. I would guess that's biased more to the rear, but don't know stock weights on each axle.

Also added 200lbs to my weight for the GFC and some other stuff I might add.

Thinking it should be pretty close.

i know how fast weight adds up when backpacking and having unloaded and loaded my bed as I go through and organize it all for the coming spring, Im sure it adds up quickly too.

Rereading that discussion and realized I may have worded my description wrong.

Springs are 4" of lift and 1,000lbs over stock capacity. I pack light too, that's just how much my truck weighs.

Also, they are quite similar to my current bastard pack in thickness and number of leafs. 8 leaf plus that shorter torque leaf.

its the 4'' of lift that shocked me more then the 1000 pounds. That means those leafs should hold 1000lbs and retain 4'' of lift. So without 1000lbs its gonna be like 5'' lift and ride pretty damn stiff. I know Mike's Alcans are the 8 leaf design they used to make for Wheelers with was +200lbs and his second set he had them up that to +300lbs over stock. Only 2.5'' lift as well. He does have 1'' shackles though.

I just don't remember you rear having 4'' of lift. Seemed closer to 3 or less really to match your front.

Time will tell! get em on today :D

I like rake, I'm also not concerned about how much lift I get. Anywhere between 3-5" I'd be fine with. Keep in mind the only times I use this thing anymore is for trips, so I'm also not concerned with how it rides unloaded.

Working on the interior right now, if I somehow finish this I'll start on the leafs.

Also have @Reh5108 s leafs here. 3" of lift and 1,000 over. Only difference I see is a touch more arch and I have isolaters on the 2nd leaf from the bottom.

His two are on the bottom.

@Squeaky Penguin How do you think this will affect your bump height and where your shocks is in its travel?
