I just can’t handle the humidity and the bugs! Plus the lack of open space/useable land.

That beach in the northern Cali coast? Rare to find a driveable beach or even cove around here! I’m jealous!

I think rogue is in nevada isnt it? Also most shops install lockers for free with gears or atleast people in the 4.88 mega thread are reporting that. Gears are all sold out everywhere right now i was lucky to get them but hands down the best mod for performance! Mine are awaiting install. Also i got my 4.88 nitro master kits on sale for 1100 sure they are still selling it for that so pm when your ready to pull trigger ill shoot you the company most sell for around 1450$.

Yes it is! PM me if you want the deets

Nevada yes, but not my part of Nevada haha. That’s what I’ve read so I’m going to make damn sure I get the most bang for my buck cause this stuff is a pretty penny. I will definitely hit you up before I purchase cause that sounds like a damn good deal, thanks!

You have a nice build going on! Even better that you're local haha
I'm getting tired of my regular hot springs.. Do you have the inside scoop on some cool ones to go check out?

Slowly building up another parts pile in my garage, hopefully it will warm up enough today to get my compressor and slee mount hooked up and working. Gears came in last night so now I just have to call and schedule an install date :bananadance:

More @RelentlessFab fun on the way as always :benchpress:

Hit up more springs last weekend. Learned a few important lessons about rushing to hit the road, proper planning, and fatigued driving. We made it home safe but it was by no means fun.

My girlfriend and I hardly ever really plan before we head, we usually get going a general direction and she does the navigating while I drive. Well this time it bit us in the ass because we lost cell service before we could find the roads we wanted to hit on Google Earth, and my Benchmark map doesn’t have good enough detail for what we were trying to do. After some shitty roads and washes we made it to camp at around 1 am, flipped up the tent and crashed. I always wake up at 6:30 so I didn’t get much sleep before we started the day. With daylight it was a lot easier to find our next destination but with how slow we were going fuel started to be a concern. I had 5 gallons in the bed but if the roads were similar it was going to be bad. We made it to some other hot springs then ripped back to town to fuel up. But when we headed back out it was a dust storm. So we were driving across a lake bed with no real sense of where we were going, and the usual landmarks weren’t visible because of the shitty visibility. So it was a lot of guessing, second guessing, and saying fuck it that led us to sagebrush mobbing, and somehow crossing through a marsh before finding a road. But then that road was shit and only took us north but we wanted to head south. We followed it for about 10 miles of shit before it met up with another road that went south. About 3 hours after it had all started we got back into the town, fueled up again, and hit the road to head home. We were drained, dehydrated, and frustrated that it had been a bust. I just wanted to get home. We didn’t talk much on the drive back and I was getting tired. Before I knew it I woke up to my girlfriend screaming and us driving through the sagebrush off the side of the road. Cruise was set at 70 mph. I freaked but didn’t over correct (thank god) bounced back onto the road, off the other side because I didn’t want to fight it, then back onto road again. I pulled over and composed myself and calmed her down. She took over driving and we made sure to talk the rest of the way.

Definitely could have been a lot worse during a lot of the trip so I’m thankful nothing major happened. And we learned a lot about what not to do.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
Daaamn lucky you didnt fully lose it after drifting off the road. Also probably a good thing you had a little armor up front for the brush! LOL.
That's certainly one thing I've learned though, learn your limit for driving while drowsy and if you're too tired just acknowledge it and pull over and catch some sleep, or have someone else take over that's less tired. Whenever we go on road trips it seems I'm the one that ends of driving and Brit usually falls asleep on me at some point which certainly makes things harder so I know how that goes. I usually keep a 5hr energy shot in my center console to give me a boost if I get too tired with more than an hour to go, helps a lot for me. Even still there is that point of exhaustion that no matter how much coffee/energy drink, music, etc you use to help it just doesn't. Been there once or twice, but never fell asleep behind the wheel. Scary stuff!

Super lucky I didn’t lose it. I’m not really sure how I didn’t honestly. But yeah I’ll be a lot more cautious from now on with shit like that because it was not fun.

I’ve done that before and it works great! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that at the time. And didn’t see a coyote the whole time we were out surprisingly.
