Controls the fan speed, the old one sucked and would only work on high most of the time. New one is in and should be no issues anymore besides a hurt back from lying on the damn door sill.

Saw this cool truck at harbor freight! I picked up a giant torch so I can release my inner pyro and start a fire easier while camping.

Called a blower blower motor resistor even though that's not really what they are anymore. Check your connectors look at them to see if there are any burn marks on the blower motor or the resistor. It may just be on the inside on the actual pin inside the connectors.

 

Connector looked good even tho I had a new one on hand as well, no burnt marks so I just used the old one. May be placebo but I swear the fan also runs quieter now...lol

 

@EatSleepTacos how much did you pay for that torch?

 

That's good mine had some minor burn streaks so i just took the pins out of the connector and cleaned them up really well then and has worked for a while now so I hope I am good.

 

Just get this they are like 30 bucks with the propane and you can get them with an ignitor built in.

$20! Could be had for $16 if I had a 20% off coupon they always pass out. I already have my 20lb propane with me for the heater, so figured might as well.

 

I haven't done shit to my truck but here's some stew and beer.
