Just wonder how difficult it would be to color match that to MGM...I like those contractor caps.

Take it to a paint shop you have your paint code the shop should be able to match it well. Or you can order rattle cans in your paint code or ready to spray paint if you have a gun and compressor and do it yourself.

Yep, that’s the one! Better for what I want it for, which is starting fires easily.

The wind is the biggest killer in starting fires.

    Everything TW members recommend
This is small (nice and storable in the truck), refillable, can solder, pinpoint flame to heat up nuts/bolts, start fires, etc.

Thats what I thought! This game was the 2nd I wathed this years lol the first one was friday for the Olympics
Drums should last for a while! I'm at 150k miles and just sprayed them with brake cleaner and adjust them with the little gear/screw and its fine for a while!
you don't light your fires with a flint and dry grass?? Might as well sit around that burning torch and call it good:rofl:

150k miles or km??? Yes they should last for a while but any rear brake should because they are only proportioned to do ~30% of the braking on avg. The reason drums last sooooooo much longer than rear discs is people hardly ever keep them in adjustment so they do even less effective braking than a disc set up.

240 000 km or 150 000 miles lol I agree on the adjustment thing. I tried to inspect/adjust them when I put my summer tires on

I do it ~every to everyother oil change if you keep them right there where they are supposed to be they provide a good amt of braking like they are supposed to. Drum brakes if they work correctly have a higher coefficient of friction compared to what is used for discs. The main problem like in that video is very little of that front shoe was worn and none of the rear shoe was. So only that much of the friction material was actually doing any real braking. This inefficiency has to do with being out of adjustment and how the wheel cycl. acts and the arms and such allowing the shoes to move.
