About to swap out my flowmaster 40 because the drone sounds like an alligator getting stepped on lol, thought about the aero 2525 but dont want to pay the price, seem to see alot of the thrush on the tacos but just cant decide which!

Also thrush is just a cheap version of a flowmaster they sound pretty much exactly the same in person.

I guess I'm getting old. I've never liked the sound of glass packs, especially on a six banger. If I did anything other than stock, it would be the larger one so it sounded quiet until you really stepped into it.

I think I'm gonna go with the Aero 2525 XL and just run a y pipe to keep my duals, Will I loose any backpressure going from the flowmaster to the aero?

It is a pretty quality muffler and everyone seems to like them. I put mine back on for inspection but Nazi Massachusetts wont even let me get a sticker with this! And tbh its pretty damn tame, i would say its equal to the trd exhaust. I prefer my straightpipe sidepipe coming out at the bed

inspection is always a bitch to pass but in WV at least in the part where I live they will pass anything because a lot of people have lifted modded trucks jeeps etc and the other half are junkies who have half their car held together with duct tape and dirty needles lol but I'm licensed in KY so we don't have inspection stickers...but I have a WV DL. I liked my flowmaster at first like I said the highs and idle sounds great but the mids and daily driving is insane the drone sounds like crap

All our stations have cameras with microphones now so nobody can fuck around. Its just annoying because it shouldnt be about my truck sounding like 10 decibels louder than stock. Should be about the shitbox civics and fords from 1994 rolling around covered in tape and zipties.

I Agree 100% I don't see how having a slightly louder than stock vehicle is going to hurt anyone. I thought those inspections were for "safety":confused:o_O not mods or sound
