No we do not have plans for one. Try to look up SpartanXTaco. I don't know if he is a member on this forum, but I know he is on Instagram. He makes a kit for the new Tacoma.

Finally got around to taking the scoop apart to replace some rusted bolts and try and figure out how to raise the light beam. It was actually kinda easy. The first time, I bolted everything up and tightened the light last - that prevented the adjustment needed to raise the light beam.

This time, with the scoop removed but the adapter and light bar sitting in the opening, I installed and tightened the light bar to the bracket first - guestimating the angle. I also opened, or spread apart, the thin sheet metal in the hood where the three rear bolts of the scoop fall through and tighten up. You may not have to do this, but I did it before deciding to bolt up the light bar to the bracket. Once everything was tightened up, the light beam was way too high. I loosened the adjusting nuts a bit and lowered the beam to my liking. No need to grind anything.

I next want to tinker with converting the black mesh cover in the scoop from a bolt-in to a removable piece. It will provide a bit more lighting, on demand, but more importantly, allow easier access to clean the lens cover. After almost a year to the date, the lens was grimy and full of bugs. The mesh is ferrous; so, I thought about gluing some magnets to the face of the light bar and cutting off the tabs on the mesh cover. I would used a pick or piece of wire to remove the magnetized mesh. I will seek a similar material at a hardware store to avoid cutting the OEM mesh.

Thanks for the update, that's some helpful information! Also a great idea to make a version of the mesh that can be removed quickly.

I just wanted to say thanks to Caleb for some excellent customer service! My quick little story. I ordered my hood bracket a couple of weeks ago. It came in and I opened up it to check it out but I don't have my light yet so I just put it back in the package to put to the side. A few days later I get an email from Caleb saying he thought he may have forgotten to put the hardware for the bracket in the package and wanted me to know that he was going to send it out to me right away. A few days later I get a small package in the mail with the hardware in it. Awesome! To me that is great customer service right there and I just wanted to let everyone know

    Great job Caleb!

I'll update when I do the install but I need to get the light 1st. Lol

Thanks for the post and the nice comments! Glad we could get all the necessary parts to you before you got the light so we weren't holding up your install!

    Just a quick review.

Ordered my bracket with a sweet little discount code, and it shipped. Still hadn't received the bracket 2 weeks later and so I emailed C4 and they responded within an hour! Long story short, USPS screwed up but C4 immediately sent me another one, and I received it the next day! Amazing customer service that is necessary in these days.
Installed the bracket following the instructions on the forum here and put in my cheap 10" bar. Works well and looks really good, I am extremely happy with it!

hello C4 Fab, just read all 15 pages of the write up for the hood scoop mod. I was all set to spend my money and then read about the concerns with water intrusion and then later with the guy that said he had to clean his light out after a year's worth of road grime. Then it hit me, what if you use magnets or wingnuts ( for attachment purposes only) that would be mounted through the oem mesh so that it becomes removable to be cleaned AND keeps the water out of the engine bay? Product innovation and another GROUP BUY for TW members.:boink::woot::welder:

The whole key to the above was to also include a cutout of glass or plexiglass that would attach to the outside of the mesh for easy cleaning, thanks.

Hey, which light bar type would be best to put in the hood scoop? Want to purchase this.
