That looks really awesome. Limited should come from the factory like that, but for some reason, Toyota thinks their top trim levels should have Chrome everywhere.

 

Looks good. I got one too just too much chrome to remove it all lol. Wgat wheels are those?

 

Awesome! Can i see a pic from further out? Also, did you do it with the handles on the truck and just tape off the other part of the handle?

 

I will get another pic later today, but I taped off the whole handle in a box and did 6 coats of black and one of gloss. Then just take your time and peel along the seams carefully and it all comes off neat, much like numerous videos for other parts of the vehicle. I gave them a good coat of turtle wax Ice after as well. Pretty good video of the protection that stuff provides to dip.

 

Stock wheels, also plasti dip. I am a fan of the stuff if done right with enough coats it looks great.....and if you mess up your out 20 bucks and just peel and start over.

they wont peel over time?

 

On my last vehicle, I had limited issues once it was done correctly for two years. If the tires are rotated there is always a chance of a nick, but can be fixed pretty easily without redoing the whole wheel. Lots of YouTube videos on how to. Good clean dry wheel, and i always keep my can in hot water between coats.

Fianily got the side vinyl on todajy. It was an Xmas gift from my daughter .She has great taste. Love it

 

did you have to take them apart to do that, or did you just plasi them right on the truck?

 

My new ride. Picked it up Saturday after a very long search process. I had to buy the truck without seeing it in person. When I was able to get in the truck for the first time, I chuckled to myself as to my surprise it already had silicon rings on the radio knobs and as I discovered this morning ShiftSense already installed. A huge thanks to previous owner. Btw, wife was very skeptical of the blue color looking over internet pics, but now loves the color!

 

I bought mine new over the internet in another state 4 hours away after giving up finding the same truck in inferno. After renting a one-way car I sure was glad I picked the blue. Most pictures do not do it justice.

 

speaking of pictures not doing it justice. I definitely think this one does. Hard to capture all the flake. Such a pretty paint. Reallt thinking of painting my Supra to match.

 

I did it right on the truck, just taped a box around the whole thing then carefully peeled the unwanted portions away and they came cleanly off at the seams. The only part that take a little rubbing is what gets behind the handle. Spray goo-gone on a towel takes it right off.

 

Sorry it took so long, it rained all weekend here in the NE. This is a little further out, if it helps at all.
