Really not sure why everyone makes such a big deal about 4.10s and 35s? Maybe the weight really affects it that much but this is completely acceptable.
0-60 clocked at roughly 9.5sec. On the highway I go into overdrive around 50-55mph. I'm at 1800rpm at 60mph and roughly 2000 at 70mph. Only noticeable difference is the shifting while accelerating, if I am accelerating more than normal it will rev a bit higher before shifting. Overall pretty happy with the setup for now

Got 4 Nitto Terra Grapplers up for sale now. 265/75r16, asking $400 but make an offer if interested.

That would be great too. Little stronger gears, but probably more pricey too. Isn't the diff a good bit larger because of the 9.5" ring gear?

Actually I think the 60 axle would match my rear width where the mini truck would Need spacers. Hmm

You can find them cheap ($300) on car-part.com. 9.5” ring and pinion with mini truck outers. 60.5” wms-wms so it’s Tacoma width. The only catch is that it’s passenger drop so you have to flip the housing to keep the Tacoma chain drive tcase. Pretty easy to flip though

Wow wasn't expecting them to be that cheap.. hmm. Sounds like it's worth the slightly larger pumpkin.
Might have to bug some of you guys about steering and t case setups this summer and we'll see what happens

Hold on... so you're running 35s on a 2.5" lift? I must be doing something wrong.

Shit load of trimming lol. Some of the second gen guys run 37s with about that much lift. You can fit pretty much any tire size at stock height if you have a high offset and aren't afraid to cut your truck to bits

I gotcha. Because Im running 265/75 16s which is essentially 32" on the same daystar lift. I didn't want to have to trim but probably would've been safe with 33s as I have 00 offset.

Any way when my tires wear out in a few years hopefully ill be changing to a Toytec 3" coil lift in the front and run 33s or something close to 34 depending on what works with my wheel.

255/85 is a 33x10.5. That is about the only way you'll get a 33 with absolutely no trimming. 285/75 will require just a little trimming. Also, I hope you plan on getting a diff drop with the 3" lift. Anything over 2.5 will start to put a lot of strain on CV joints

Uh... not even close. Lots of trimming, beating, smashing, rear axle relocation, washer reservoir relocation, and so on to get a 255/85 to cycle without rubbing.

Yeah. I don't plan on doing it anytime soon but I probably would. Diff drops aren't that expensive right?

Carter has some lift, not sure how much. He did seem to have a lot of trouble getting his 33s to fit though. I think some people have a lot more luck than others with 255s. I never tried that size personally, was going to but decided to go straight from 265 to 315s

Should have explained that better. Had to use an axle relocation plate that moves the Center pin of the leaf springs to Center the tire in the well.

Barely fits. Without the plate, it wouldn’t.

Strange. With the 2.5 that I have the 32s look great but I can tell it would be very easy to fit 33s especially if they're 10.5

Oh, gotcha. Yours is really interesting. I've never seen anyone have that many problems stuffing 255s.
Also, what was your backspacing? You didn't run spacers before did you? My 265s barely rubbed the frame when new
