I’m just trying to get it back to the level it is with the bins back there. Not looking to get it super quiet. Probably would be fine just putting carpet back there.

 

There is carpet with insulation mounted to the back of it that could possibly work as well.

 

I'm debating a bunch of things right now. I just need to figure out what direction I need to go. I may just leave it like it is or I may jump up one size when I need tires

You just got a good welder for home. I say fire that bad boy up and make a HC rear bumper for it with tire carrier, some stuff for mounting more stuff, exo-cage, hmmmmm and more stuff

 

Tires can be a difficult decision. I haven't gone up to 35's because I really want to regear. Sure, on flat roads 35's might do ok, however, I already experienced that I want regear after my trip to big bend. Truck was heavy and at 6000' altitude.

I haven't tested it out yet, I did the same thing in my previous taco, it was an access cab with no back seats. That was a noticeable improvement.

 

It has to go straight up the mirror bracket and then it causes headliner bulge and I felt like it put tension on the cable. I bet it would tuck under it I cut the extra portion of the mirror bracket off. Haven’t commited to getting the hack saw out yet since you can’t see the cable from 90% of the angles.

End of the day the pros by far out weigh the cons. I drive threw 20 round abouts on the way to and from work each day and ducking around the mirror got old fast. I had only had the truck 3 days before I ordered the bracket. Hahaha

It has entered my mind believe me. Remember though, I have our little camper I pull around so I have to figure out how to make all that work together. I've already had the thoughts to extend the tongue on the trailer to make it work with a swingout but some more planning will need to be done

 

Just get a hitch that is longer to go into the reciever. You'll also need more drop as well if you put the reciever behind the license plate. Etrailer has them that extend really far. We got one for the bus our scout troop owns that is like 12" or so from pin hole to where the drop starts.

 

Yep and like I just told @ovrindkull pulling our little camper especially when we get off the highway onto at least some fire roads the 255's I've got on now may just be the ticket

Those wheels look amazing with the BRM Taco. I've been debating on going with the Bronze or Gun Metal. I'm really leaning toward the bronze.
