lol Damn, I post in a CB forum about CB stuff and all you guys do is notice I finally got new tires..

that is too funny.. well, it's goofy... but Robbie bought them from Drew, and then decided they were too big for Brandy's truck.. he then call me to see if I wanted to trade my stockers for the AT's.. duh!

they are more expensive tires, so I gave a little extra for them. I guess that I will have to post pics in the BS thread so everyone gets a chance to see them..

The ride very different from the stock Rugged Trails, and you have to air them up "more" to get the same type of ride.. but after a week of them... I love them although Gas mileage sure does suck! They are some heavy freaking tires.. lord knows they will last a very long time. Can't wait to wheel with 'em!

Anathollo, I'm still stuck on what tire to buy myself.
    Mud-Terrain T/A® KM2 or the AT's
After I complete a OME install, and 1.25 wheel spacers and 4.5 offset on new wheels I should be able to run 305/70's yes? same height just 1" wider with the 305's instead of 285/75's, Just looking for larger footprint at 20psi. much larger carbon foot print on gas!!!

KM2's kick ass, but ultimately it really depends on your truck and what YOU are going to do with it. How do you plan on using your truck, are you going to wheel it? is it 2wd?

Edit.. footprint.. I am thinking you are thinking Sand Buggy... KM2 aint gonna work for that. What do you have again Michael.. Dhuelers or whatever? those look perfect for sand and Footprint to me. Taco Prerunner did Great at Matagorda with 2wd.. never got stuck, drove the whole way down the beach.

keep the four for offroad use(back up) and smaller 3ft or <less for daily driving, just have them both tuned with a SWR meter.

I saw blackwatertaco's mud tires dig him holes at the beach, the mud tires kinda suck in sand.

I have an 08' 4x4 DC offroard with a turtle shell, silver one on the San Luis thread pulling everyone out:)
I might stick with the AT's because the tire shops are not giving the 50k warranty for the km2's
I love Matagorda beach (20 plus miles!!), Ol' man has bay house 37min away.

Anathollo, all ready got hold of bank account, CB, OME, 1.25wheel spacers and uca's are waiting in a box in the garage, waiting for 885's frontsprings and shocks.

285's/75 and 305's/70 are same height.
what do you think about the one inch wider on the tire??

i'll probably get a mount that can "swivel" 90 degrees, so i can fold it down when not in use. even a 3ft is probably going to hit every beam in the parking garage at work...
