Negative, it is a soft sponge material that has a very fine abrasive material. Today I did just the whole front end and used the Mother's Quick Detailer as a lubricant. Check out this YouTube video, and it really is that easy.

I thought you had to mend clay, I mean wouldn’t it pick up surface contaminates then you would eventually just create sand paper? Is there a way to mend it so you can work what you pick up off the paint into the clay

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
If you watch the vid, it just requires a rinsing under water.

Bare in mind that this is not a "true clay bar" but a synthetic sponge like substance. I too worried about the contaminants just building up but this has built in channels that I assume work the contaminants into them and away from the surface. As the video shows, you can wet this via soap and water or with a spray wax or detailer. I just ran the pad under running water for piece of mind but I don't really think it is necessary. I used to use a yellow clay bar and would knead the clay when it got dirty and often wondered if those contaminants were doing any damage. At least with this, you can rinse off. I am impressed with the results and sold on this product.

Where'd you find a flat connector pin like this and what size did you use? I've been wanting to do the fog light mod for forever but can't track down this piece so I don't have to splice anything.

About to ditch my Flowmaster 40 and g with either a thrush muffler, a straight glasspack or a Aero 2525. Any suggestions? I would have to run a y pipe from the back of the aero if I wanted to keep my dual exhaust...which I do. Will I loose backpressure since the flowmaster is chambered and the Aero is straight through?

It's a 20awg pin for a 2 pin duesch connection (item C pictured below) that I flattened out with a pair of channel locks and bent at a 90 degree angle. Im not positive on a source for just the pins (make sure it' female, as the males can' be flattened out easily). However the full connector set can be purchased on Amazon or cheap if your okay with buying the full thing for just the pins.

What are you using to control the winch power? I recently installed an Spod, but the instructions clearly say DON'T for connecting it to the winch. I'd like to link it up in some way to turn it on and off - in and out is fine by the controller, I just want a way to control the power feed.
