Either way you go would be awesome and would serve the purpose. I don't need to tow anything so I could do either. If you are planning on a boat I would do the motor swap with the 5.7 it's going to give you everything you want towing plus supposedly better mpg when not compared to the v6. I hate to shoot myself in the foot here but if you are game to do the swap and have the means 5k is a drop in the bucket compared to 40+ k and debt then a boat on that. It's a great rig already but miles are up there. Another 100k or more on then it's going to start dragging. Add a sc and who really knows do the motor swap over the sc. But like I said in pm. I'm still very interested and don't want you feeling obligated to me. Make up your mind and let me know brother I'm not going anywhere and I'm not running out to buy anything else. Yours is just to nice to pass up if it's out on the market. Keep me on the list to notify if you do decide to get rid of it.

Yeah but at the end of the day the short wheel base is another issue for towing so it’s still for sale lol Come buy it!

Yes it is but that depends on the size/type of boat you are towing. I'm not here worried about just myself. Yes I would like to give that rig a nice home. (Wife is already pissed I would kick her truck out of the garage) it's on the top of my list to buy. Once again already may have talked to my contacts about front /rear bumpers,sliders and tires....... But this is all just talk to them. If you can keep it and it works for you I'm down for you to keep it dude.

Anyone have one of those Predator 2000w generators? I have a honda 1000 but needing more power to run my portable sink and was thinking about trying the HF generator since it's half the cost of a Honda 2000.

Friend had one to run a toy hauler. Didn't last as much as he ran it. He ended up with a Honda 3000.
