Searched, found some pics of them on 2nd gens. I think I like these better than the SEMA wheels, more tire, less rim.

So, any pics of 3rd gens with black FJ TRD’s?

Beautiful, pretty much how I want my truck to look. Is that the BAMF grill? And what bumper did you go with?

I’m pretty sure I saw your truck when I was at mobtown picking up my stuff didn’t know you were a TW member haha.

I think these wheels are one of my favorite wheels that Toyota has made

Yea it's the BAMF grill and the bumper is the SSO slimline bumper and thanks!

Yea I was there Friday from 12-330, I'm assuming you were the guy picking up the sliders in a full size pick up...

And yea I think these are pretty underrated and not many people run them. it's also a plus that most FJs pull these wheels off and put on a different set.

One of these days I will be pulling these off and repaint them and put on a clear coat. Cleaning these are a *itch cuz it's powder coated.

I was in my Tacoma haha. I think I was there around 2

I can imagine the powder coat would be tough to clean judging from my sliders

Oh haha...whoops lol. Mobtown folks are cool as hell especially the owner. Talking trucks all day was fun lol. The powder coating from the sliders and the FJ wheels are different. The FJ wheels is a matte black so it makes it even worse...

If I had to do it again I would have added a clear coat on it before install

What size tires do you have on the FJ wheels? Are you running spacers? The stance looks good.

Thanks! I plan to run the same wheels and tire size but with stock suspension on my 2017 Off Road 4x4 long bed. I'll have to do a test fit to check for any rubbing.

Interesting. I'm surprised the matte black trail teams wheels aren't the same as the TRD Pro T4R wheels. I have bare matte black finished wheels on my other car and I know exactly what you mean about maintaining them. It's a PITA. The T4R Pro wheels that I have on my Taco came with what is either a very thin clear coat or some kind of sealant. They are not shiny but they are most definitely not bare matte black like my other wheels. They are very easy to clean, same as any other clear coated wheel.

You shouldn't rub cuz I never did.

Yeppp...water spots for days unless you specifically have Mattel cleaners. I just put some aerospace 303 to hide the water spots.

I was actually going to ask about that, the wheels I’m seeing are not flat, they’re gloss black.
