Well, this is only slightly illegal. No I'm not planning on impersonating a police officer, I just got it to scare the hell out of my friends with. Lol.

10mm hex, but I've read that some 1st gens (earlier models) have a 12mm, or one of each for the drain and fill. My 04 is 10mm hex for both.

 

10mm hex/allen for both on a 98-00 as well

 

Mine is a 10mm fill 12mm drain and the stupid drain is seized haha

 

Ive used an air hammer... carefully to get those loose... just have to have a new one

 

I'll give that a go with my V chisel bit next time. It was late before a trip last time I did it.

I removed my K&N hot air intake today, and replaced the OEM air box. Went with the aFe pro dry s air filter. Planning to install the Safari clean/cold air intake next weekend when the rest of the parts arrive. 1 step closer to EAF. Anyone want a lightly used K&N “CAI” with cleaning solution and oil included, it was on my 2002 5vz 3.4.

Does the spray on bedliner trap a lot of dirt? How easy is it to clean? And do you know if it has UV protection?
