Got the truck yesterday, did some super low key off roading today. Nice to get the tires dirty. Can’t wait to do some more adventuring. 8798142A-F280-4B6D-899E-853560EEE8C9.jpg

I can finally play in this thread too! Picked it up last night, and went up the hill a bit today to play in the snow and give that front diff a jog. Didn't make it too far up before the snow+ice+grade was a bit too much for the stock tires, but it was a fun jaunt anyway. This was on, I believe NF-9020 up near Snoqualmie.

Did some riding through the Cherokee National Forest in southeast Tennessee yesterday with some fellow Jeep brethren. Had a great time and fellowship with other off road enthusiasts.

I picked up some 887's that came along with a full set of Bilstein 5100's. Package deal. I wasn't planning on 887 but went with it anyway for the deal. Definitely stiff. Wouldn't mind it being a little less stiff, but I'll definitely be getting a bumper in the future so...

The HD Dakars. I have them. Along with the OME AAL because I routinely load a 850lb camper in the bed. Total overkill, I removed the AAL. The HD Dakars alone handle the weight just fine. When it's empty it's stiff. Too stiff. So, if you're planning on HD Dakar, EL096R, you better be loading 800lbs in the bed on a regular basis....Kirk Out

Little Sunday drive to Devils Corral then off to Evil Knievels anticipated landing over the Snake River. Notice his jump over the hood of the truck turned my back long enough and my child attempts to jump in the drivers seat.

I have the HD pack (EL096R) on my truck as well. I carry KBVOODOO rack long bed version 50-60lbs?, Smittybilt Overlander Tent XL 150ish lbs, 4 gallons of gas 45ish lbs, some recovery gear on a daily basis. I am prob at half the 660 constant carry of the leaf pack, I do not find them stiff though. Maybe I'm used to a truck feeling stiff in the back but I think it rides very nice, my only problem is the amount of lift the provided at that load, I am at factory rake. I have thought of swapping the 887s for 888s in the front but am waiting to go on one of my long trips fully loaded to see what I think.

Pony Express area in Utah. Lots of snow out there! We were the first to break through it 95% of the trails we went on. Only got stuck once...when the snow was above my sliders ha.

Thank you smarty pants. I forgot that I fill my gas tanks with water. Weight of tanks mounting hardware etc. Hoping to give someone an idea of how it might ride. Why do I waste my time?

Took my family to the river yesterday and did some off-roading in the process. This is at a spot we go to all the time in Mooresville, AL. The field behind the truck was covered with geese. Had to be at least a few hundred. Gotta love North Alabama.24E666A5-4B7F-42A7-A405-2627538B207B.jpg F962BCFC-536B-47CE-AB79-B90EBD0752B0.jpg 394B48EA-1AF4-45BC-B402-A64534DBEDB6.jpg E0B945A6-714E-4397-BC57-14BC5198F242.jpg
