I wouldn’t bother with double sided tape as it will deteriorate over time and there is not set standards on Chinese letters they all differ on fitment meaning your seller might not be selling his letters in years to come. Use the two part epoxy (that comes in syringe form) from Lowes or Home Depot from the back side where the pins insert and never worry again.

 

Sounds good. I have the 2 sided tape on it now and it’s on pretty good. Just to be safe I may look for some extra letters now and use the epoxy next time.

You have to get it from the original seller they all make them a little different. I learned this the hard way when I didn’t get the letters shipped originally.

 

Don't be surprised if you see the package sitting at the same place for days on end, they have to go through customs on both ends. Remember, it's not the shipper's fault because it is out of their hands now. I mention it because I've seem some people in this thread getting pissed at the seller when the shipping takes too many days or weeks to arrive after it was shipped. Hell, I filed a claim with eBay myself a few days after the shipping window closed and the package had been sitting in NY for several days, but it started moving again that very day and I had it soon after.

 

Although some of these claim to be in China to avoid infringement issues (partly why they blur the “TOYOTA” lettering), they have someone in the states locally drop shipping it that’s why it’s only taking most of these things a week and a half at most two weeks to get to the lower 48. I know this because on one return it went back to Boston, MA address.

 

Sooo... areyourshop or grill-pro are the best ways to go?

 

I got mine from this seller on eBay "zqinqin126". No broken tabs and shipping took less than a week.

 

I wanted to order one from grill-pro, but he didn't have any listed anymore when I finally decided to pull the trigger.
Ended up ordering one from ezgroupinc0118 out of CA for 159.99 free ship, ordered 2/22 and tracking says it should be here tomorrow. Supposed to be a 2 piece like I wanted from grill-pro, we'll see. I'll post up when I get it.

 

Can anyone tell me what sellers sell this one with the two pieces besides Grill-Pro since they aren't selling them anymore?

 

Ya'll talked about something with welding it on? Can someone post a pic of what they got to do this and is it easy?

You're welcome. It is super easy, just make sure they are on straight as they aren't coming back off after it sets lol.
