@Blackdawg he isn't falling behind, he only makes them and charges people when he reaches a group of five, but that waiting is kinda lame although good for him to avoid a Skygear situation I'm sure

I'm sure the eBay one will be fine, and you might get it sooner since @Sandman614 does batches and you have to wait sometimes. Does make a good product though. I've been very happy with mine: Bussman RTMR Installation

This just happens to be a case where rapid gratification counts. Really want to put the rigids up and move the lightforces. I’m all for supporting TW vendors. That’s how I found this forum in the first place.

Good idea, I'll see if they're willing to match that shop, the Discount Tire near my house has been really cool about that stuff. I need a stop gap tire for a bit and these are the first I've seen for a decent price that have a real brand. Don't wanna spend a whole bunch just to change them again in a year or so.

For $150/tire, and MT...you'd probably be able to resell them as "nearly new" and recoup most of your money anyway...at least you'd be able to here...

I keep forgetting to mention this but I saw that truck you have as your avatar on another website, can't remember which, but that's when it occurred to me it wasn't yours. Totally random but I don't know why I hadn't noticed that before.

hahaha, I was looking for that the other day, and thinking I should replace it. When I first got on, I wanted an avatar that was a green 1st gen with the TRD stickers (which I had removed when I bought the truck). Found one, and PhotoShop-ed in my wheels.

Now I've got better wheels and some better pics! Good reminder to update it. :hattip:

Finally found it. Interesting how I look at that truck now and the choices the guy made and go, "not my kind of build." :)

Man, it sucks there are no load C tires really in 16s or 17s..

    Besides the KO2 in a 285 haha

Might have to go to go back to the BFGs for Igors new tires...not thrilled on that idea though.

I think the Nitto Trail Grappler MT's come in C. Prolly not cheap. Plus, then you're running MT's all the time.

yeah not ready for MTs the full time. Thought the MXT is tempting, only 180 a tire for 295s..

See if i get to work today! Been very a very windy weekend and didn't warm up enough to melt snow. So the powder drifted up bad on the dirt road in. We shall see..tire chains here we come.

Well I have begun my side career, as I train to be a bar tender in jackson lol. I have zero hospitality or serving experience, but luckily my buddy is the GM at a local restaurant/bar and is giving me a shot to learn and train me on the job. So I bar back for 5 or 6 shifts, then serve the tables in the lounge area and learn to make drinks through the end of the winter and shoulder season, then transition to bar tending for the summer, where its 3 times as busy. Ive always wanted to try bar tending, and I like people so I think itll be a lot of fun. More so, its the easiest money to make in this tourist town, and I want to quit my job in about 4 years and travel the world with my GF, so i need to start saving money fast and quick. Im still keeping my full time job at the resort to pay bills and play in jackson, and luckily in the summer the work load slows way down, so I should be able to cut out about 5 hours from the village so i only work like 35hr accounting weeks, and bar tend 2 nights a week (with saturdays and sundays off still) Accounting job still pays bills and play money in Jackson and everything from my second job goes right in the travel fund.

Here's the view from the bar, with the Tetons right smack dab in the back ground. I'm working the busiest night, fridays, which just so happens to be jazz night. So from 7 to 10 I get the listen to some really great jazz music while I work. Im pretty happy with this opportunity.
