I'm guessing Buffalo is holding him until tomorrow. Apparently the offers on him were very low. The Sabres will wait until someone makes an offer they can sell to the fans.

 

Not sure, but the track gear is likely in the shower again.

 

First round picks are a big deal to teams that aleady may lack depth. I wouldn' have traded a first rounder for Nash, rental or not.

 

Yeah, Boston payed a lot for him as a rental. They’re all in.

 

How have the Leafs played against Boston this year?

 

Last game was fine for the Leafs. Good win by both the stats sheet and the score. No Matthews.

I’m not sure what the Bruins are thinking. Maybe they’re just trying to get every ounce out of their core before they fall off. They have lots of young talent too, so they might have a shot while the old guard has enough talent to help out the young blood.

I wouldn't be that pumped about Nash, if I were a Bruins fan, but that is just me. I still think they will be tough in the playoffs though.

A couple of big deals now. Statsny to the Jets is the biggest for me. I mean he's not the player he was three years ago but he will help the Jets.

Pure rental, this year is like last in that teams are willing to overpay. The Nash deal was the same way. Ok deal, but a lot was paid for that upgrade.

Apparently five teams have made firm offers to the Rangers for McDonagh. All in the East. The Leafs are supposedly one of them. The Rangers are waiting to see who ups the ante first or they'll probably hold onto him.
