Non-political things that make you say...WTF?!?! (Welcome To Florida!) **NOT CV RELATED** NO TALKY!

In fact if I have a crane for any substantial duration I make them send 2 riggers, 1 to fly it and 1 to land it. That’s their only job.

 

Here is my WTF for today. I was sitting at a light this morning, this light is not a long one so everyone needs to be ready to go to get the whole stack of cars through. Not today, some asshat was on her phone texting in front of me. I literally had to lay on the horn while I was watching her with her head down looking at her phone. We didnt make it, so I am sitting there stewing about it and when the next light comes up she did it again!! WTF!!! It took every ounce of self control not to go up to her car, open her door and rip that fucking phone out of her hand and smash that fucking thing.

THEN, enter the god damn interstate....what is so hard about understanding that the left lane is a passing lane and NOT a go the same speed as the other 2-3 lanes which creates a road block. Going 60 mph on I95 when there is very little traffic at 6am is just plain stupid. That road blocking asshole got a finger flipped off at him by about 5 vehicles, including mine.

Rant over, carry on.

Pulled a lady from this a couple of years ago in front of Legoland. She hit the pole hard enough that it broke and the guide wire made contact with the power lines and as her car rebounded from the initial impact and the pole started to fall, the guide wire welded her right rear door shut as it scraped across.

 

As a bonus, Polk County Walmarts are legendary. Saw this guy in Auburndale. Trucker hat, mullet, cut off sleeves, jorts, and flip flops. He was a unicorn.

My girlfriends friend was at the public library in our hometown on Saturday morning studying when a she was approached from behind and stabbed to death with a hunting knife. Deane was a 22 year old medical school student. She did not know the attacker and he had a long history of mental health issues (arrested for banging on his neighbors doors in the middle of the night, screaming at kids, etc). He seemingly picked her at random during a homicidal rage. WTF.

Up here the Police will pull you over and ticket you with a nice large fine for using your phone while behind the wheel, people still do not get it even with fines upwards if $500.00.

The Provincial Government is now talking about further sanctions such as Vehicle Impoundment.
