Silver is the best color. There is lots of info here on wheel/tire upgrades without lifting.

Great combo in my biased opinion. Enjoy. CR can keep its Ridgeline.

ill say this is a good overall review. Everyone has different taste and views but I own a 16 Colorado z71 diesel with bose and nav and I added the leather Katskins when I got it. It is 2 years old a few days ago and has 53k miles. I can say the comfort is better in the adjustable seats and stuff and the power train is better in my opinion. That said I totally disagree on the interior quality and looks being better in Colorado than the Tacoma. No chance. Plus all the blind spot and now adaptive cruise and stuff. It is smaller and I really like the looks better outside too because the Tacoma isn't so much body and tall in the back. I have been fighting over whether to get new zr2 or Tacoma trd pro. They both to me have plusses and minus but I can tell you my Colorado is ok on trade but Tacoma is better. I plan on going Tacoma this round and back to Toyota. had many Tundras and this was my 3rd Chevy and after the 2nd I said never again then got this one I have now and must say it was good truck this round. I really like Toyota trucks better and do not need a big truck again nor want another and if I did it would be another tundra which I have had 4. But Tacoma this round and hope you enjoy your new truck.

I don't know. I saw a third Gen in the Loew's parking lot today. Just sitting there. Going nowhere. Pretty sure it was broke.

Must have been, why else would a truck be sitting in a parking lot at Lowes? If it wasn't broke, they would be driving it up on the curbs.

Yeah, I mean there was a Ford F150 sitting there too but no Ridgeline. So the Ridgeline must be really reliable.

Guys it's a brand new truck. It should be starting every time and running perfectly. To expect anything less is to lower your standards below floor level.

3rd gens are still way too new to be singing praises over reliability.

Mine starts every other time. I find that to be acceptable. As long as it's the time I'm going to the liquor store.

All I can say is test drive as much as you can, I wish I went manual because the only thing I dislike about my truck is that I had to buy an aftermarket computer to help the way the automatic shifts and holds gear on the slightest incline or resistance. Other than that I really enjoy my truck.

 Yeah I'm not missing my truck like I thought I would. Enjoying driving this '18 Honda CR-V in the hilly country even with it's cvt transmission. May go back to a truck someday before I die, who knows.

If you look hard enough online you can find all sorts of things to make various different points. Like for example this article. It goes counter to what you said about the Honda since the Tacoma OR blew its shocks in this test.

    https://www.yotatech.com/articles/edmunds-torture-test-toyota-tacoma-trd-off-road/

I realize researching is useful, but you can sometimes drive yourself crazy with the amount of info online these days that can make any vehicle look bad, good and anything in between.

A good amount of people here regret their 3rd gens. The slightly re-tooled Camry motor is the main culprit. The auto is a dog and feels like a Prius. If you pull the trigger, get the manual. At least it is geared lower and has some torque off the line.

That is a common practice the Dealers always do to drum up business, if you read the letters carefully it will say something like "can be worth up to".in fine print.
