There are different packs...there is a pack with both retainers on the longest leaf...and other packs with a retainer on the longest in rear and second longest on front. If you keep the OL in...the front retainer/rivet on the second longest spring will be riding on the OL.

First stock picture is the clamps on both long sides...I got an Icon AAL Mfg 1/2018 that has the clip on the second longest as well.

I installed tonight and just cut the front most AAL retainer and rivet off. The OL retainer should keep leaves aligned.

That's really what matters most on TW. That other stuff is incidental stuff.

I only got about 1 inch of lift, but I have about 400 lbs of constant weight. Plate bumper with swingout, bed rack, roof top tent and other stuff. I have a long trip through 6 states starting Thursday and we'll see how it settles out after I load it with gear. If it compresses much, I may add another leaf in the middle of the pack or maybe an additional overload leaf. I really like how the truck currently drives and the pack is sturdy, but dampens very nicely with my setup. I'm pleasantly surprised that a pack with that much heft is as smooth as it it.

It's all a big experiment. I went with the complete leaf swap because I'm a 2011 with the 2+1 pack and didn't want to spend $ trying to revive an old pack.

Looking forward to seeing what those 255/85-16s look with this setup. Been thinking of going with that as well!

I was actually banking on the bumper and winch to lower it to get a rake since I didn’t get any AAL or leaf packs with the kit. Hopping for .5-.75 rake so I guess it’ll work as long as it doesn’t bottom out. I was only looking for 1-1.5” lift in the fronts anyway.

I ordered from them at the end of January for $640 shipped and got my kit 2/15 They had it back ordered from Toyota...according to this thread there are tons of kits on backorded so they’re in the same boat as other dealers getting kits from Toyota

Thanks for this! Maybe the one I get won't have the rivet in that spot. Some 2nd Gen guys said that you could just bend the brackets on the overload outwards? Not sure how I will go about cutting the rivet, but I think I'd rather keep the OL in with the ICON. What pain.

I just got a cancellation of order noticed from OEMPARTSWORLD lol. The rep said mine was guaranteed with a shipment that was on the way. Guess I will never order from them. Good thing I panicked and bought from Rogue last week! So I won’t have an extra set to sell for those that were asking me about it.

You can drill out the rivet and just bend it off...the rivers are daily soft steel.

Just got mine too. Not happy about how this was handled. Would have had time to buy elsewhere had they been more accurate with their info up front.

Got lucky and found one in Phoenix this morning! Maybe this will help someone. Brent Brown will sell it for 600$ but will not ship out of state, confirmed in stock at Bighorn... Hope this helps someone!

I don't know what I'm looking at. But are those the parts departments with some in stock. Like does Des Moines have 2 in stock?
I spoke with my local rep and he said he saw 2 in LA and will attempt to get one for me

Not unlike much of my OR, although we have more mountains and rock crawling probably.
