Ahhh, sounds like you got it nailed down then. The back side of one of mine (left) is so loose that it feels like I could pull it off. The other side it fine. I wonder if you could just squeeze one of those little straws on a can of WD-40 and hit it a couple of times? It might mist into the nooks and crannies and resolve the issue. I know WD-40 also makes a silicone spray. I use that on my snow blower and it lasts a quite a long time.

Thought about it, another member took it apart and fixed it with some felt or something.

Does it come apart?!!! I might like to do that some day if I ever get ambitious enough to color coordinate some of my interior trim pieces. Someone on the Inferno thread found vinyl that is a very close match. It's the only thing that's stopped me from ordering the Inferno dash bezel. I figured why if the steering wheel and radio surround aren't.

I am making an attachment for my home brewed RAM mount plate on the Dash. I will post a pic when I get a 1” Mount ball and extension.

I jammed some craft foam under the silver cover plate to stop the creaking. It worked for me.

2 days and so good so far:D One thing to think about is you can get the Coopers in 255 85r16 or 255 80r17. Taller than a 285 75r16 but narrower. Due to the width they will fit on non lifted 3rd gens with stock wheels!

So I had to go out and check this right away. Otherwise it would have bothered me. I must be a lucky one because mine definitely doesn’t squeak at all pressing any part of that location. Thank god.

How will that soon change if it is happening to people because the new custom steering wheel is the same and only has the leather and stitching adjusted. Just curious.

Those pieces do come off. My guess is this may happen to those that remove those pieces and then don’t reinstall them all the way or tighten the bolts. I don’t know. I’ve removed mine like 3-4 times and I don’t have any squeaking. Like I said, thank god. That would definitely drive me crazy.

As I've stated, I am doing a few custom things with mine but they are addressing some things on their own as well. I know you personally disagree with the price and feel that spray painted interior pieces provide more value, but to others, surface quality/material is more important.... As you very much like to say "to each their own" ;)... Plus, you don't have anything to worry about, yours doesn't squeak and you have your super amazing $20 "leather" wheel cover from walmart

Good stuff! My truck has been a bit of a lemon..

Jesus! Who knew customizing your truck the way you want and spending YOUR money the way you want on quality items would cause such mayhem!!!
I'm sure some have spent $650 alone on TRD stickers and LED interior lights...[/QUOTE]

My comment was actually genuine and I was really curious for those that do have this issue. However, thanks for your smartass comment. You are the one that keeps stating there are special features to this wheel that people are curious about verses just the leather and colored stitching. Like if this wheel was heated, had different controls or additional buttons to operate different things, etc. God forbid I ask for others that are probably curious for the same reason but don’t ask. I guess if there were some more custom touches to this wheel, more people would be all over this mod and would be signing up for it Daily. Just trying to get more details and options that SDHQ is maybe addressing. On the other hand, I’m not the only one that doesn’t agree with the price tag. And for someone that has told me multiple times when giving me shit and saying my mods are basically unnecessary, “you don’t spend money to spend money”, I’m pretty sure your last comment made, says differently. “ah come on man, it's only money..” Why is it just money now to you? I’m pretty sure that all these mods just take money. However, is it because you like this mod that you back it and all the other mods you diss on because you don’t like it so you have to state your opinion? Like to me it is “to each their own”, but you are the one that knocks it if you don’t agree with it. I simply stated for this specific mod, I’m sure it is a great custom touch and the leather I’m sure feels nice. Just not for that price. My black leather $20 steering wheel cover feels mighty nice.
