What’s the point of having a wheeling rig if your scared to wheel it.

I'm not scared to wheel it. I'm scared of Hardrock. The last few times I've been there it's cost me a crap ton of money and work to fix my busted shit. Anywhere else, I'm down, but I need to let the pain deaden down a bit before I venture to Hardrock again. :bananadead:

I was wondering how this was going to go with people in the south. May consider taking mine in for giggles.

Do it. The extended frame warranty is good for 12 years from original purchase date.

Will have to find my paperwork on the bulletin. May take a look this weekend just to see if I see any possible issues.

Looks like I'm going to be replacing my lower ball joints too. They aren't bad per say, but they are a little loose. I can turn the studs by hand and the left side feels a little gritty while the right side has a boot starting to split. They've been on the truck about 4.5 years and I've beat the crap out of them. Aside from my battery, they are about the only autozone part I've put on the truck that I don't have any reservations about replacing with more of the same.

The OGT is getting a lot of love. New upper and lower ball joints, new brake rotors, pads, and freshly rebuilt calipers...and a sexy new off road bumper courtesy of @allenfab ! I sure hope she gives me some love back. :fingerscrossed:

On a side note, I reminded myself why I should leave the nut on when separating a ball joint. I have a nice goose egg on my shin now from where the LBJ shot off and landed on it.

    New calipers...$60/ea
    ------------------------
    Caliper rebuild kit...$4.00/ea
Set of wire brushes to clean up the piston bores...$10.00
A buddy that gives you a spare set of calipers (one of which looked brand new inside), he was tired of tripping over, so you can cherry pick the best looking pistons...Priceless! Thanks @allenfab ! :hattip:
