    You’ll love it. The shop painted mine including the little mesh grill. I then plasti dipped the grill black.

    You are probably correct. The stock hood is around $480 but has just an empty hole where the scoop is, you still have to order another $200 in parts for the scoop, scoop grille, nuts/bolts and misc trim parts. Don't forget both hoods will need to be painted to match as well.

    I have an idea. The demand for a scooped hood wide appears to be widespread. With members gladly willing to drive hours away. Why don’t we start bunching ourselves into regions, find dealers in our respective areas and do a group buy on hoods. We might even have someone on this forum who sells OEM parts manage the OEM parts group buy? They can be shipped to our designated painter/mechanic for assembly and paint. I’m sure it would be cheaper to work a deal with a painter who has do several. Think that would be possible?

    Ur right I forgot that had to order rest of parts for scoop, I knew they don't come painted just not sure what the cost of that is... it's amazing how much these things cost
